Can't you rent a room in Bromley? I had some friends that would stay there for our get-together weekends instead of crashing at our townie friend's place....but it's been a couple years since we've done that.
You could, at least as of 2008. 2nd floor rooms were available (dorm is floors 3-9), though at points during the year Sogeti (the Dutch business school thingy) has many of them tied up
I think Bromley's an upperclass residence hall now.
It has been that since OU bought it... but the second floor was only used for students the first couple years. It has been guest/interim housing ever since, with floors 3-9 still as upperclass dorms.

However, if you go back to the main interim housing page, it states this:
Ohio University guest housing is currently very limited. At this time we are only able to accomodate Departmental Guests (professors, lecturers, short-term faculty, visiting artists, etc.) in the limited space we have available.
