Some please tell the athletic department to update the website to show the IPF.

It is not listed on the facilities page, and there are still brochures with proposed diagrams on the main page.

First picture of the IPF from the Richland Avenue exit. Glass looking very blue from the outside is a surprise.

Had an old friend and the mother of a high school junior text me today to say that she and her husband, son and one of his friends were in town visiting OU as prospective students.  After the official tour in the morning, I met them at the Pub for lunch and then took them on the "unofficial OU tour."  Ted can tell you about that because we did that a few years back with one of his relatives.  Anyway,  after seeing all five floors of Peden and walking across the field, we went into the indoor facility.  It reminded me of the first time that I went into the blimp hanger in Akron as a kid.  That place is big and impressive.  We talked to one of the construction guys who said the track will be in place in 3 to 4 weeks and that Miami is building a very similar structure. We headed to the Convo and the boys who are both players on their high school team got a kick out of jumping off the still springy Convo floor.  They were very impressed with the training facilities.  The point of all of this is simple - get a kid on campus and as our new BB coach will tell you - "who wouldn't want to go here."  Of course the coeds sunning themselves in the old Green and White Club tailgate area contributed to the allure of the 73 degree sunny afternoon (had to throw that in for all of you "old" guys reliving your time in Athens through this post).

I'm telling you, there was nothing better than Athens in May!

According to this website there were two practice fields, but one of the fields has been reduced to make room for the IPF.

I went over there last weekend and walked around inside.  Great place.  Everything appears to be in place included the sign/letters on the outside Walter Fieldhouse.

Is an attack cat logo supposed to go on the front or was that just part of the conceptual drawings?
