I was browsing through Miamihawktalk recently just to see what their thoughts on the game were and i came across this...www.miamihawktalk.com/discussion/viewtopic.php

At first it was just typical making fun of OHIO stuff.. then it turned real creepy.. someone from Miami posted a picture of two of our former cheerleaders.. a few comments are made about them being hot.. then ozoner? not sure who that is I am assuming he is someone who frequently visits this site, gets on and starts talking about the cheerleaders on a personal level.. ok whatever he knows them... then he gets real creepy and posts what to be a picture from facebook of all the current cheerleaders dressed up....

All the Miami people continue to make even weirder comments after that and eventually one of Miami's own informs them on how creepy themselves and ozoner are being and they change topics after that... any thoughts on how creepy that is on OUr own fans part...

Yeah, I could have done without the cheerleader digression in that thread.  Apologies on behalf of MHT.

Very considerate of you to say Chuck...

Could you do me a favor and ask your Admin why he won't approve an account?  I know my email address gives away my allegience but it sure would be nice to be given the opportunity to chime in...

I'll take care of it this afternoon.  (I'm on Pacific time at the moment for work.)  We've been completely swamped with spam registrants lately, which has created a huge backlog of names to get through.

I just activated about 15-20 accounts and deleted north of 3,500 spam registrants.  You should have gotten an e-mail saying your account was activated (there were a few OU accounts among them).  Let me know if you're still having problems.

I must have deleted you by accident.  My apologies.  Just re-register and I'll be on the lookout this evening.

Speaking of weird, we have a new poster named "bobcatblitz" over on MHT whose idea of "appropriate smack talk" is apparently posting pictures of Zac Dysert off of Facebook and making gay jokes about him.

That wasn't me for the record (User Name - Ohio's First and Finest)...But I would imagine that response was fostered by the previous posts disparaging Coach Solich and the picture of DJ Cooper (Basketball Player) in a similarly questionable pose.

I'm not saying 2 wrongs make a right...Just saying I've seen some classless and immature content to say the least this week...

That's OK though...It'll be settled on the field in less than 48 hrs when the Cats leave Oxford still in possession of

Lets Go Ohio!!!!!

Three things:

(1)  Frank Solich *does* smell like Turfman's after-shave.
(2)  Tim O'Shea still seems to have anger management issues about y'all.
(3)  That trophy [sic] is an abomination before the Lord.  Even when you guys win it, you deserve something better looking than that to symbolize this rivalry.

is that the same dude that went loco at the beginning of this thread too? maybe he's a Bobcat from a branch campus. pretty lame.

so how are the football fans at Miami dealing with the tragic loss to Wisconsin last week? it must have been rough on them. Go Cats!

Took the time to read your "Why I Hate Ohio" post (Yes I corrected the title for you...We don't call you Miami of Ohio do we?)...Classic and touching...

If I had to guess, I'd guess that kind of stuff would fire up the opponents and bring them additional fan support, and might even make them play better. If I had to guess, I'd also guess that calling out individual players on your own team and ridiculing their on field performance would have the reverse effect, if any. I guess I'd rather see the reverse, and have him making up ridiculous stuff about Ohio players and calling out Miami players for their on field performance, but it's a free country.

Agreed, I'm dealing with my cousin choosing Miami this fall, and the prospect of my sister going to Oxford next fall...they're still family though.  Thanks for sharing that.

It looks as if I may finally have one more family member on my side.  My cousin's son is highly likely to wind up at Miami next fall.

Seriously...Best shot at NFL as any of our dbs?? What planet are you from..So Carrie who granted has sat out but also played before he sat out..with stiff hips and terrible ball skills on deep passes has a better shot over Julian Posey...Donovan Fletcher...either of the Leftwich's in 3 years? Luckly your not an nfl scout! LOL Dont get me wrong Carrie has plenty of time to improve and he is a great athlete but right now he is a starter by default..if he gives up another gimmie type touchdown best believe he is getting yanked..sometimes watching the coaches body language during the game and actually knowing what is going on in the football game makes you a better fan..I also grade the players in my head and he has been a consistant c-, he helped himself by being a productive returner for sure! But he has to improve down the stretch in man coverage.
Blitz responds to me. Ahh, memories....
