A typical home schedule looks something like this-
September
Gm1- Opener
Gm2
October
Gm3- Homecoming
Gm4-
November
Gm5- Weeknight
GM6- Weeknight
If you're scheduling Band Day your choices are pretty limited. You have to do it as early as possible before band competition season kicks in, at the end of the year you're not going to get high school kids to sit out in the cold to watch UMass, homecoming is not an option... there really aren't a lot of choices.
Usually we have a home game earlier than this. Starting with three straight road games is waaaaay out of the ordinary. Also, one of the games in Sept or Oct is usually Parents Weekend.

We would all like to see both sides of the ball play their best and record a 42-10 W.
I am not so optimistic that this will happen though. I believe we need the O to score 7 on their 1st possession for them to gain some confidence. On the D we need them to score a turn over early in the game for them to also feel good about themselves. Without these 2 events the game could turn into a dog fight AKA the Kent State game. Under these conditions the final score could be 21-17.

Starting to see a boost from huge jumps in season tickets, IMO. Nearly everyone on my street has season tickets now. Four years ago, most of these people went to maybe 1 game a year, if that.

Attendance - 25,211, which is even higher than the highest pick, RSBobcat, so he wins on attendance. As for score, the winner was y-city who about nailed it with his guess of 35-28.

Where can I pick up my prize? ;)
pleasantly surprised by the attendance! There seemed to be a lot of new (or haven't come in a long time)fans in my vicinity of Peden. With that however, there seemed to be an even bigger drop off in cheering! I don't know how you change a non-cheering culture but something has to done! I was getting crazy looks for doing the O-H-I-O cheer! Still, very glad to see this crowd even after the Marshall blowout!
