*sigh** Ok, clearly you're easily confused, and I honestly didn't think I would need to educate a Marshall fan on recent Marshall football history, but maybe I do. Let's break it down real simple like for you:
(A)
No. Selective facts are not the issue. Ohio fans claim we cheat to win.
Sorry, but the burden if proof is ALWAYS on the person making the claim. This holds true for scientific and philosophical reasoning. You claimed we cheated in some conspiracy--prove it.
In December 2001, Marshall University's football program was placed on probation by the NCAA and stripped of 5 scholarships over three years. The primary driver of the probation was a "jobs for props" program of no-show jobs, primarily sponsored by local businessman Marshall Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds continues to this day to be one of Marshall University's most influential athletics boosters. It seems to me, and any other objective observer (that is, anyone outside of the "WHO'S GOT A HERD ON? I GOT A HERD ON!" bubble) that if a program wanted to remove any doubt of its innocence with regards to prop players, etc., it would completely disassociate itself from a booster who previously led the program into NCAA sanctions. Since Marshall has failed to do that, I think it is very reasonable to be suspicious.
That is called "burden shifting." The concept you're looking for is not "burden of proof." It's "burden of presentation."

You know the students get these privileges. Why not act? With this inside information, you should immediately report.
Additionally, your Abscence of evidence may be appropriate if I had made the accusation. As you may not be aware, the burden of proof falls upon the accuser, not the accused.
The people on this board are not Marshall University institutional compliance officers. We do not have access to the information necessary to put forth a reportable claim.
But once upon a time, this guy did:
http://aspnet.cob.ohio.edu/isms/cobProfile.aspx?ridpathAnd what he found was that that whole Marshall football run of 1997-2001...the one where you dominated the MAC...was fraudulent based on the previously mentioned "jobs for props" programs.
Just because we do not have the evidence does not mean the evidence is not there. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Using all caps generally makes you appear immature.
Yet you did such in your very next post. Also, you are apparently unable of discerning mockery from actual factual communication.
Another thing that generally makes one appear immature: showing up on an opposing team's message board after a football game to track down an opposing team's fan and lecture him regarding a post he made weeks prior on a different message board.
Aside: isn't it somewhat ironic that you defend your Marshall University education by having to cite to your MBA from Ohio State?

Finally, reminiscing over the past is nostalgic, yet it doesn't help with the results of the present.
Seeing as you see 2011 as ancient history, worth remembering as nothing but nostalgia, I eagerly await your denouncement of your fellow Terdites' thumping their chests about all Marshall's victories over Ohio in years prior to 2011.
