About 8 plays inside the five yard line. 0 to Tyus. Awesome.
How does that happen? Rediculous effort from staff when OUr guys are working hard. So darn close. Should be 21-17 us at half.

What defense was that… let them have a FG.
Noticed 2 frosh DB on blown coverage on late TD, Bannister and Walker.

The DBs were dropping like flies, so I give them a bit of a pass for the soft coverage.

On the whole very encouraged, though. This running game is going to be incredible in MAC play.
Hunt + Navarro have 15 carries for 20 yards.

Tyus is quite literally carrying the team.

230 pounds and that speed is going to run for 1,300 yards this season in the MAC.

He jumps off the screen. Ohio has a hoss they can ride this season.

As much as that last TD hurts, gotta feel good about this team still. Let’s see what the second half shows us.

This is a combo of size and speed we’ve never had at running back.

Also, Syracuse is a mess. McCord folds like a cheap tent under pressure, undisciplined play and defensive mistakes galore.

Syracuse fans hate our play calling too. Lol

“I don’t understand Ohio’s play selection right now.

The run has been killing the Cuse. Why not give it back to Tyus?”

“Because they don’t want to win obviously.”

Tyus is averaging 13 yards per carry.

Three straight passes to start the next drive.

According to USA today, Fran Brown, the Head Coach of Syracuse, is estimated to be receiving a $3-4 million salary on a minimum four-year deal. He has certainly been around and is known to be an excellent recruiter, but the only Head Coaching experience that I can find is when he coached High School Football. It's one thing to recruit absolute studs, but quite a different thing to get them to gel together out on the Field. We certainly have the advantage when it comes to coaching experience and having an established culture, but it looks like Syracuse's size and athleticism is sending some of our guys to the sideline hurt. I am very proud of our Bobcats today. They definately showed up to play. Go Bobcats!

Navarro needs to add more to the offense if this team is going to win games. Not getting anything on the ground and is not a threat through the air. I'm not saying to switch QBs, but he needs to add some more value to the offense.

Horrific playcalls. Same as last season. Only Navarro clearly cannot throw it.

Zero threat to pass. Only threat is to our own team bc they’re about to punt it or turn it over.

I am sitting here in disbelief. And I thought our DBs were our strength. Major disappointment.

McCord is considered to be the most accurate passer in the Nation, and I wonder if Ohio State isn't going to miss him. Syracuse has a new Defensive Coaching staff as well that is pretty impressive. I think that Syracuse is better than people think. We are giving them all they can handle and more, but I am impressed that we have been able to hang in with them as long as we have up to now. I just hope that the injuries today are not serious and thus effect our season going forward. I hate it when we play against Power 5 teams. I hope that the payout to play these games is worth the physical toll that it takes on some of our guys.

Ohio State is not going to miss Kyle McCord. He cannot handle pressure.

Syracuse is a mess on defense. They may win seven, but only because the ACC is…oof.

I have been impressed with McNaboe,Rice, Heinecker, Owen and Leake but have not heard Mack, Dennis, Pugh, Bruno, Johnson, Doggette or Walker-Burgess called. Returnees Weaver and Brawley are balling but where is Taylor?

It’s going to be a long season if we can’t pass better than this. Got to give the guys credit to hang on as long as they did. Then got ugly quick

Is it McCord who can't handle pressure or Ryan Day?

Ryan Day does not throw the ball against blitzes, no.

McCord’s footwork becomes awful when he senses pressure. Watch him the next time it happens. He backpeddles and throws it over the middle late.

Maybe we should give the unstoppable running back the ball more.

Syracuse’s defense is a MESS.
