be very curious about attendance for this one.

Team appears to be playing better - good
MAC leader opponent - good
Blackout - good

Weather? It's going to be testicle-crackling cold. - Bad. Very very bad.

Casper71, perhaps the query was really intended for Paul whose comment was Toledo's #4 is better than any QB on Ohio's roster. Just guessing.

I have watched NIU twice earlier this season and I'm still very unimpressed with NIU right now against Toledo. There's nothing special about this team whatsoever. They're playing at home in a huge game against Toledo who started a third string QB and the Huskies look very, very average. I feel very confident in a win next week.
The decisions to go for it on 4th down with the ball on the 25 and a 10 point lead in 4th quarter made no sense. Same could be said of NIU punting the ball with 8 seconds to go up 3 points. Toledo went of fourth down on their own 25 down only 10 points and didn't get it. Stupid decision making in that one.
I agreed with the decision to go for it on 4th down. You probably won't gain anything by punting it. A FG would have been preferable but a 40+ yard FG was going to be difficult as the wind blows through the stadium from the northwest causing a crosswind particularly in that area of the field. And we have a freshman kicker who was making his first FG attempts of his career in that game. Toledo made one there earlier but it was a chip shot.
