I had hoped that McCabe's crew worked today, which would reduce the chances they'll do ours. No such luck.
I want him for this game. As I said, he owes us one BIG makeup call! ;-)

During these next three games I'd like us use every play in the playbook. Not this year's playbook (I think we've seen them all) but the 2011 playbook. Even if some of them don't work, the offense needs more variety.
Too bad it will be this year's playbook and we have seen all 7 plays in it.

What's the word on the Bulls OL. Last season's edition pushed the OHIO DL back into the linebackers. Any of the same members still around and healthy?
...Their depth chart shows a very big experienced OL.

LT - Silas, Senior, 21 starts
LG - Davis, Senior, 45 starts
C - Sales, Senior, 43 starts
RG - Blodtgett, Junior, started 14 games
RT - Kling, Junior, started 14 games

It should be a good game.

But, it remains, CMU held them to 38 yards. What the heck, over?

Nathan Carpenter--out for the year--is that old news or was that just announced?

I'll remember a few of his big plays; definite nose for the ball.

Best wishes young man and thanks for your dedication.

He's applying for a 6th year per Arkley. He missed his Freshman year with an injury as well.

Blair Brown not on depth chart, I assume due to injury.
Kurt Laseak not on depth chart, has Trent Smart just moved ahead?

Then again they probably just let it ride, busy with BB too.

I wouldn't takes those too seriously. Last week Laseask dropped off the depth chart, and Smart moved up, yet the actual starters was Laseak.

INTs have been their problem, which fits into our strength. Nine of their 12 giveaways have been INTs, while nine of our 12 takeaways have been INTs.

We'll need to cover up in traffic; nine of their 11 takeaways are fumbles.

We've been even in turnover margin since the Kent game -- 12 giveaways, 12 takeaways.

I will be in Peden tomorrow night, as always, but there is a 70% chance of rain with temps expected to be in the 40s. I hate to anticipate how small this crowd will be. But Bobcat fans have surprised me in the past by enduring the elements for these mid week Nov games.

Somebody help me with this hypothetical (haha):

if you were a season ticket holder living in cincy would you drive to Athens to see the bball and fball event/game Wednesday evening?

Majority rules.

I'm a season ticket holder in columbus and I'm out. I'd like to be there, but crappy weather and the team not playing for anything means I can watch on TV and get a decent night's sleep. And before anyone chastises me for that, I will be making the next midweek matchup, rain or shine, plus an overnight in athens, which means i will have made 5 of 6 home games, a better performance than in recent years for better teams.

My friend Mr. McCabe did not call either of the Tuesday night #MACtion games, so there is the sincere possibility that the Director of Officials will perform the greatest troll of all time by sending McCabe to Athens tonight.

I'm making arrangements for sideline seating and fully expect to be ejected if said assignment happens.

It's going to be a lonnnnnnnng time before anyone forgets McCabe's lunkhead call. You'd think that someone on that crew would've preferred being reprimanded for reviewing the call when it arguably shouldn't have been instead of being remembered for all eternity -- thanks to video archives -- for such a bonehead call.

As for tonight, it's good to see that we'll be about the healthiest we've been since Week 4. If we win tonight, then have a full two weeks to prep for NIU, I like our chances for a winning season.

Call me stupid but I am on the way from cincy. I figure I get to see a bit of the Bball team and I can always leave the game at halftime like the students...if any show. Let's hope the rain is just that crappy shower/misty stuff and not a downpour. I am prepared with sweatshirts a poncho and my bobcat seat.

GO BOBCATS!

USA Today has a preview of tonight's games: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2014/11/05/wed.../

Didn't see any glaring errors, but it's not very insightful. The author apparently just looked at the stats. McPaper's McPreview.

The even more absurd thing that a lot of people forget: the play started at 26-yd line. As bad as the call was, TT should have never been in the position to have that call go badly. He backpeddled 22 yards before he desperately threw.
