I am glad Andrew didn't put me down there with Monroe, et al at #25 since I didn't give anything "official". I really did think anything better than 4-8 would be a good year. But, as I saw all the crappy teams we were playing, I must admit, I thought we could get to 7-5 easy...we win that NIU game and we are all happy and going BOWLing. As it is now, looks like that loss means we stay at home!
More NIU baggage. Two games decided by a total of 10 points. The NIU fans would be so pleased with the effects of their wins. Neither were beatings, both were tight games. There have been other moments to define both programs. Pitt, Penn State, Idaho Potato Bowl, Independence Bowl.

Or beat BG and go to the MAC Championship Game (if BG loses to Ball St.). This team wasn't too far from 7-5/8-4 but left too many points/plays on the field. HOPEFULLY, it was due to youth and will improve next year.
