My question is really whether since the game is on a ESPN cable channel whether it will be blocked from WatchESPN. I don't recall ever having a program blocked on WatchESPN. You can generally watch any of their channels, including live SC, at your leisure. Just be sure that you're in the correct thread, e.g. "Live Now", "Replay", "Upcoming", etc. I've watched a lot of OU games at weddings, Christmas parties and (ssssh?) Ohio A&M football parties. A freakish outburst at the end of the Famous Potato Bowl during my office party nearly blew my cover, so be careful.

With Miami being a pass oriented team and having not so good of a run defense, I'm going to go out on a limb and predict OUllette will gain over 200 yards if he gets 20 carries or more.

I believe this will be a break out game for him as I don't believe we have seen even a glimmer of the talent this young man is capable of showing.

I note a change in the depth chart for this week, with Brett Layton moving ahead of Bass on the depth chart.

Against Miami's passing, Ohio should have the best DB situation they have had for awhile. Layton, Bass, Wells, and Nelson should all be available at corner, and Jones, Kristoff, Ingol, Scipio, and Davis should be available at Safety.

The interesting question is, how Ohio will play D against Miami's all-pass, no run offense. Will they stick with the Cover-4, and stop the run? Will they stick with the cover-4 and turn the D-line loose to go for sacks? Will they do some stunting and blitzing for extra pressure, or only rush three and bring in another DB? Or, will they slide back into Cover-2 in a lot of situations?

I'm guessing it will be a mix of all of the above. I look for a variety of coverages, and a variety of stunts on the line. We shall see.

As for the offense, I expect Woody is right, and Miami will get a heavy load of OUellette and Vick running the ball, and when the Miami DB's cheat up to help stop runs, they throw over the top to Cochran/Cope etc deep, or to Morgan/Mangen on play action passes. I expect the offense to be the most effective of the season.

We have serious problems. I am amazed at the walk-ons that are playing key roles for the Bobcats. What's going on with the scholarship recruits? Do we have a recruiting problem? Between this game and watching the basketball team looking terrible is making me a little sick.

The Ohio offense has had success at running the ball the past few games so against a team that is horrible at run defense we call a bunch of passing plays???

And Vick and the defense is looking like they are intentionally losing this game....is Vegas involved???? Seriously???

I was wanting to start backing an Ohio football team other than "The" Ohio team....and I loved what I saw in the fire in Oullette....but wholly crap....this fish smells!!

They better start running the ball the second half or Ohio and the coaching staff loses all credibility.

You missed more bad play calling. Then you made it back to watch Fiami think it can run pitches. And someone please back me up that this changing of signal callers has to be something that messes with the psyche of not just the quarterbacks but the entire offense right? And the announcer just said Tim Albin is a genius. Spare me.

Our defense has got to be completely pissed at our offense. This unit is so tough and so gritty. And our offense does them absolutely no favors. I think our "D" is a couple of bad Devin Bass games away from truly being one of the most dominant in recent memory for us.
