This thread has gone from entertaining to mildly amusing to a complete trainwreck, yet I can't stop reading. But that doesn't mean I should. Maybe now it's time to put an end to this dead horse.

All I've learned is nobody is going to change their mind about the reasons for Albin leaving; some will blame the former AD and refuse to reveal his/her identity yet insist they have inside information; and others will never have anything good to say about Albin and how he left.

It's been a year. We've had 2 new head coaches. Maybe it's time to kill this thread and begin to put our full energy behind Coach Hauser.
Shore Cat- I agree move on and support Coach Hauser. Coach Hauser is a great coach and Ohio fans witnessed what his defense did to a high scoring Rebel team in the bowl win. He was one of Albin's hires and will do a solid job. I have never "insisted" I have inside information. Unlike others on this message board, I have talked to a few of the employees that the former AD saw fit not to renew/mistreat or dismiss. Can other BA attackers say that?

I can.

Who did she fire?

You spent the year on the Charlotte sideline. Why are you still posting about Ohio?

Actually, he was on the OHIO sideline all season.

Burner- did you read my second to the last sentence? "Not renew/mistreat/dismiss." Did you speak to former radio guy Russ? Did you talk with former ticket manager Ray? Do you need more former employees? It is evident you didn't speak to these people.

I’ll bite.

Russ has been discussed on this page. You are the one who clearly did not speak to staff. I do not believe there was a staff member who was upset to see him leave. How was he mistreated?

I worked with Ray on ticket issues over the years. I don’t think he’s worked there for a couple years. Again, how was he mistreated? You can’t throw names out without examples of mistreatment. I’d love to hear how.

I’m not interested in Charlotte fans opinions on Ohio football, however. It seems you have a good deal down there in North Carolina. Why don’t you worry about that?

Maybe in your department. Me personally, lots of positive interactions and support.

It's very clear after 290 posts about this that "mistreated" in this context basically means that people Bobcat1996 likes and thinks were good at their jobs didn't get the money they wanted, or were replaced because their boss disagreed with Bobcat1996 about their value/performance.

I have no real way to know one way or another. Are our ticket ops better now or worse?

Seems like that's the way to judge these things and not just based on personal relationships and conversations.

No comment on the ticket personnel but the buying platform is abysmal.
