Same as TT's senior year here. Why do coaches run an offense where Read Option is featured but yet the QB doesn't run 5-6 times a game as in almost never. Defense doesn't even consider the keeper after a while.

I am still amazed that Nick Sabin pulls his starting QB in the national championship game for the back-up. With so many supposed studs going to O$U why wouldn't they have a capable running back up QB and just try smashing them for a series or two? Zero 2nd half first downs was not all because of great defense the QB play was terrible.
Maybe because their All-American LT was out for the season and their All-Big10 Center went down for the season. It all starts up front. What is our run game without our two best linemen?
As they say , injuries are part of the game. Folks are saying that Michigan played without their two best players. It goes both ways.
My comment was in regards to their lack of running game. I’m well aware that injuries are part of the game. Michigan was just flat out better up front on the defensive side of the ball, period.

For a team that is full of 4 and 5 star guys, why don’t they have adequate backups? Lame excuse for losing and on he coaches to not have people to step in.

What if PSU upsets Oregon? Does that help or hurt OSU's placement in the CFP?
Hurt. That would mean a close to 100% chance that Ohio State is behind both teams. Penn State would probably be the #1 or #2 seed and Oregon would probably be #5. If Oregon wins there is a very good chance that Ohio State would be ranked ahead of Penn State.

If it was that easy, everyone would be undefeated. It’s not like Michigan is a bunch of 3-stars or it’s not like they aren’t spending $20 million on their roster either. It’s a game, one that is played on the field, between the lines. Just like, why did Miami push us around so badly the first time? They were just better that day. It does happen.

Of course everybody wouldn’t be undefeated , everybody doesn’t have OSU money. Michigan may, but blaming the loss on injuries is as old as the earth. I’m just happy to see the nuts get it handed to them since it’s so important to them.

I never blamed a loss on injury. I simply answered a question about the running game. Geese! It’s not that hard to understand. If I’d blame the loss on anything, it’s called poor execution! Two InT’s, missed FG. It’s really a simple game.

As if Michigan is all that much different?

You don't think EMU fans cringe when they hear "Hail to the Victors" --??
