The Pitt game was the best football game I ever saw live....but the Penn. St. game watched in a Bdubs in Terre Haute Indiana where some hadn't heard of Ohio but were rooting with me was sweeter.....getting stoked...friend has a camper for Lake Snowden...looking good.

I love how Evan showed, back to back, Hershey getting a late hit, and Hershey's payback.

oh, and 44 days to kickoff:

Those in charge of OHIO FOOTBALL are so all over it that the 'get pumped' thread went four days before another post was added.

What excitement and anticipation there is.

God, watching Phil Bates run makes me so angry because he could have been something even more special for the Bobcats. I wish the staff/he could agree on where he should play and excel at the one spot.

So, kill the messenger, I'm the problem with the program?

You're smarter, better than that type of thinking.

I've never seen this one before tonight, but I'll be seeing it again. I looked for some film of the Kalvinator once and came up empty, except for one run against Pitt, but this has a healthy dose of him.

Yep, I was just thinking last night how high school preseason practice should be starting in about a week, with scrimmages a couple weeks after that. We get that fun weekend on ESPN where they show nothing but high school football from around the nation for about 4 days.

And then it's COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON.

It's almost here, guys! It's almost here!

Thanks for posting, L.C. To me that was more than a thrilling comeback. It was a classic example of a "switch" being thrown. I don't know who threw it - Solich? An assistant? A captain? But seldom have I seen both a defense and offense awaken from a slumber more dramatically. That post-switch performance along with performances the previous 2 weeks against Northern Illinois and Buffalo are what gave me a shot of optimism for the 2015 season.
