Spread has changed a little......it's now a straight 10.0.

I've no idea about who'll win or the score. But it would seem that Minne's offense, espec with it's youth/injuries, will be limited such that they don't have the potential to score a high number.

Their overall size may be a problem for us. But our D seems to overcome other's size with our speed--but injury concern to our D for the contact vs. bigger guys.

If I wanted to bet on this game, I'd go with the under, which is at 47. The lower the overall score, I think, the better the chance of a Bobcat win.

I agree, Minnesota does not win by ten. There is money to be made with this game.

I just talked to a gopher guy who I'll be tail gating with tomorrow. He said that their Defensive Coordinator spoke to the Boosters at lunch today and he said they were going to have some real surprises tomorrow. Wonder what that will be? Hopefully we'll have some surprises as well.

Negative surprise for them; Papi goes off for 225 all-purpose yards!

Ohio got a little love from ESPN tonight. As the clock was winding down on Boise's blowout of UVA, Jay Fleming was running through all the G5 teams that have a shot at an access bowl. While discussing Toledo he said the MAC is as good as ever, and mentioned NIU's close call with O$U. He then said that Ohio is tough this year. Ohio came to mind before BG, maybe because of the 3-0 record.

I see the spread just clicked down another .5 to 9.5. This is a change from the original 13.5.

The spread has nothing to do with who they think will win - it's all about making money. OU plus 13.5 would have been a real good bet.

The spread at the beginning reflects the result that Las Vegas expects. By the end of the week the spread reflects the result that gamblers expect. Since the bookies want to be assured of a safe profit, they shift the spread to try to attract equal amounts of money on both sides. Apparently the gamblers agreed that OU at 13.5 was a good bet, so money came in on that side. At 10.5 slightly more money was still coming in on the side of OU, apparently, so the spread ticked down a little more.

I suspect that movement in the spread is tied to Minne's perceived lack of offense more than greater respect for OHIO.

BTN's reporter this morning said that Minn is planning "a few surprises," one of which may be a no-huddle or hurry-up offense. The plan would be to wear down our D line with their big O line.

We are playing like a MAC on defense. We are letting that chump run all over us. We need to man up on defense.

Sebastian Smith is playing like a man amongst boys, the Defense needs to follow his lead.

Nothing about Minnesota makes me think Ohio won't win this thing.

Our tackling had been abysmal. And finally one of those penalties bit us in the ass.

No. 24 is not ready to be in this game the coaches need to get people in that want to tackle and make plays on defense. If they didn't run on Kent they should not run on us. Make the adjustments
