The coaches would start Tettleton over Aaron Rogers and AJ over Adrian Peterson, because Tettleton beat Penn State and AJ played well last year, they don't believe in upgrading. this is why AJ was almost a career backup if not were not for the fumbles. Most of the fans are happy with 9-3 or 8-4 and a close game against a marginal big ten team, that's understandable based on our history, but I don't think like that. Don't criticize fans for wanting to see a back get an opportunity when our other backs are not moving the ball. I like AJ and Patterson, I just don't understand why Irons does not get more carries when he is bigger and faster than AJ. I am not saying he should start, I am saying lets see what he can do. As far as the coaches, I have seen Tettleton unravel while they did nothing, so pardon me for not trusting their evaluations.
Bingo. (And it gets more credibility because I didn't write it--that's not a compliment to most of you, by the way.)
Great limerick...very clever.
For the record, to me a two-back set is one in which either back can directly get a hand-off and/or directly lead block. So, to me, we've not used two-back sets much yet. I want sets in which the it's not obvious to the D which back will get it if we run a straight ahead, power running play.
Responses to my incredibly inspired, genius posts often cite statistics. Okay, which of our running backs has the highest yards per carry this year?
