Anyone else waiting for our resident CPA's forecast? I'd like to see him go on record so we'd have an objective standard by which to analyze his subsequent remarks as the season progresses. I know he's pessimistic but I'd like to see the W-L breakdown to see where he lies in the pantheon of BA prognosticators. The continuum seems to go from worse than last year to best team of the Solich Era. Myself I'm on the optimistic side of the spectrum as can be seen from my predictions earlier in this thread.

Two back sets.

Tight end down field.

Modern era, flood/overload-a-side blitzes.

Not going right back to the same guy after he busts a big play.

Basham at right end.

New sets/formations...not the same old predictable. Just because no one else calls a running play on 3rd and long doesn't make that call genius.

09/03/15 at 'daho - Win - Anything less than a 2 TD win against one of the worst teams in FBS will be disappointing.
09/12/15 vs. T'erd - Loss - 4 point loss. We play T'erd much better in Athens, but I just am not convinced we have the D line to control the line like we need to.
09/19/15 vs. SE Lou - Win - SE Lou is punchy at times but superior depth allows us to pull away.
09/26/15 at Minny - Loss - Nope, just get out of there uninjured and prep for MAC play.
10/03/15 at Kron - Loss - I've gone back and forth on this one, and even though Frank owns Terry Bowden, I think Kron's players have had this one circled for a while.
10/10/15 vs. Fiami - Win - Miami sucks
10/17/15 vs. WMU - Loss - But it's closer than expected.
10/24/15 at Buff'lo - Win - We always suck in Buffalo, but I think the Bulls are not going to be good at all this year.
11/04/15 at BUGS - Win - The WTF win of the year gives us a major boost down the home stretch.
11/10/15 vs. Can't State - Win - Kent sucks.
11/17/15 vs. BallSU - Win - Lembo was this close to snagging a major job a couple years ago, and now BSU is in a tailspin.
11/24/15 at NIU - Win - Eff it. Our second WTF win this year gives us the East and Toledo the West

MAC Championship Ohio vs. Toledo - Loss - and I don't want to talk about it.

Bowl Game: Boca Bowl vs.....Memphis, and we lose.

I think Money is close...but: We probably lose to one of BG or NIU so I go for 7-5. And, I think we miss the MACC game and lose in a bowl. 7-6. Just so so...

Average number correct so far is 2.5/3, so we're off to a good start. Twelve people remain perfect.

The Minnesota game won't provide much separation as only OCF and Monroe picked an Ohio win (I'm treating Monroe's pick of undefeated as his pick). Thus, with an Ohio loss, 10 will still be perfect. With an Ohio win, OCF and Monroe will be alone on top.

BA pickers continue to be very accurate. Seven pickers have all five games right (ohio9704, Bcat2, RSBobcat, ou1982, DA, OU_Country, and Bobcats1991). Almost everyone else is one game back with right and one wrong. Only four have missed 2 games (Paul Graham, OhioStunter, CMoney, Casper71), and no one has missed more than 2 of 5.

After 7 games, BA pickers have been uncannily accurate. Five pickers have picked all 7 games correctly (Bcat2, RSBobcat, ou1982, DA, and OU_Country), and not one picker has missed more than 2 games. Twenty of 23 pickers have Ohio beating Buffalo, including all five who are perfect so far.

Glad we did not have to go against a point spread on a lot of those! And I would be please as Green Kool-Aid Punch if we win the bowl game and LC gets a tie for the year!

What it tells you is that most fans were pretty optimistic. Even you got 8 right by just being silly and saying they would win them all, and you may have 9 right when it is done.
