I agree we should wait for the facts. I don't know that we will get them but we can see. I also agree that if things are what they have been reported to be it is really bizarre.

Funny, i randomly saw this old-time video on you tube recently about when the Baltimore Colts packed up the Mayflower trucks and left in the middle of the night to Indy. Based on what we know so far, this reminds me of a coach version of that.

Always appreciate everyone on this 2024 team for the great year they had including all coaches, staff, and players. I hope there is an explanation because it is otherwise baffling.

Albins wife posted on Facebook their dog was in the hospital and he had to go with her to pick up the dog (she posted picture receipts from the hospital stay)

So did he start the bus ride and then get some sort of call and they had to pull the bus over so he could get to his dog? You’d think if the dog was in the hospital and he had to go pick it up, he would have just gone with his wife straight from the stadium.

Still sounds like cleanup in aisle three. I would think his wife could take the dog home after her husband just coached and won the biggest game in decades for Ohio university and it’s football student athletes.

It was on several sports sites that he was a top candidate, and I know that you can’t maybe keep up with them all, but that’s part of their jobs

Yup….get off the bus with your players and coaches on the college green. Pick up the mic and spend 30 seconds thanking the students and others who were there to greet the team. Then you have a police escort to the dog hospital. I don’t get it.

I love my dog as much and anyone can, but in what way would anything that happened which allowed the dog to go home would stop him from releasing some sort of statement to OU fans, players, etc more than 24 hours later?

Hasn’t stopped him from talking to Charlotte. Not stopping him from being in Charlotte tomorrow morning for a presser.

I’m with ya. Biggest Ohio football moment in 50+ years and then boom….gone. Not even mad at him for taking the Charlotte job. I will never begrudge anyone for improving their net worth. It just leaves a sour taste in everyone’s mouth that he wasn’t there with the team at 10 PM Eastern Saturday night to celebrate for just a little bit in Athens. And yes…. I have no doubt this deal was probably in place at least 7-10 days before the MAC Championship game. No way it was just finalized the day before the game. And to now go 24 hours without acknowledging anything on social media to Ohio and its fans is inexcusable..Tim got some very poor advice from his inner circle on how to handle this after the game.
