We are 2-12 over the last four years against MAC teams with a winning record. That does not constitute a program on the rise, especially with one of those victories coming against Akron. I hope the NIU victory is a start of things to come in the future. I am not a denier, just not a liar.
Let go of that baggage. Your knuckles are white with the death grip you have on it. The players deserve better from their "fans." Oh, and with your omission of good wins like Marshall, Penn State, Louisiana-Monroe in the Independence Bowl you deny by omission success of the players. You are denying their hard earned progress. Who brought the term "liar" to the discussion? Oh, you did. Well, again if it fits with by omission you might have just made a Freudian slip.
Good grief. The PSU & ULM wins were years ago and you're hanging on to them just like the people you are arguing with hang on to 2-13 the last four years vs winning MAC programs.
Talk out of both sides of your mouth much?
I'm sure you are a big fan of participation trophies too. You probably think your high school deserves to have their highlights shown on the local TV station because "the kids tried so hard" even though they're 0-10 and lose by 50 every week.
Ohio football isn't where it was in 2011.
You can beat your chest about how everything is fine all you want.
Some disagree. That's their opinion, you have yours
Just don't act like we're on the front lawn with torches because we would like to see Ohio be more relevant within our division of our conference
I'd like to think they strive for more than a participation ribbon that you are so quick to hand out.
And for the record, if Ohio is trending up as you appear to believe, that would mean they at some point were down?
When was that? After the three blowout losses this year? Ummmm...no, because you believed they were just fine then?
Was it after finishing 4-4 in the MAC the last three seasons prior to this one? Ummmm....no. All good then?.
Was it in 2004 when Brian Knorr was coaching? Maybe?
Have we been trending up since then?
Has Ohio always been trending up? Has there ever been a time when you said Ohio football was underachieving? Or wasnt doing well?
