Wow I really hope he's ok. He just posted last week that the Orlando Predators (AFL) were giving him a chance to play again.

Makes me wonder, then I remember Daz Patterson, Crutch, Tremayne Scott, Carpenter, etc. and I feel better.

I'm really bad with names (Took me 6 months to get my wife's name straight).

Anyway,what's LeVon's full name.

It's telling that you couldn't muster up a little sympathy for someone who was such an outstanding player for us and (from what I can tell) a beloved teammate at Ohio.

Its unfortunate what has happened to his career and I think we all were a little disappointed...but clearly he struggles with addiction issues which are very difficult to resolve. I will always be in Lavon's corner and I really hope he can get through this and get his life back on track.

Paul. You assume so much. My background includes time running a Drug/Alcohol Assistance Center. Every case makes me wonder about many things. Usually not related to the subject directly. Sorry if you did not feel my touchy feely side. If I were attempting to help LaVon he would not either.

Oh. About those Tickets for Kids?

MAKES YOU WONDER ABOUT WHAT?? WHAT MALARKEY! LAVON BRAZILL IS AN AMAZING YOUNG MAN HAS NEVER HURT ANYONE,NEVER GOT LOCKED UP. EVEN BONDED HIS TEAMMATE OUT OF JAIL (SNYDER)! YOU CANNOT FIND ONE PERSON INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF THE OHIO FOOTBALL PROGRAM TO SPEAK ILL WILL ABOUT HIM. I KNOW HIM PERSONALLY AND THE ADAGE OF 'WILL GIVE THE SHIRT OFF HIS BACK" IS 110% TRUE WHEN IT COMES TO MR BRAZILL. THIS MADE MY BLOOD BOIL. LAVON IS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE AND PEOPLE ARE TRASHING HIM? HE HELPED PUT OHIO FOOTBALL ON THE MAP!

Couldn't personal issues and vague innuendos be put aside in this thread?

I guess expect more from the Ohio message board. But for the people that still care about the young man he is fighting for his life from being shot in the head.

So sad about LaVon and I truly hope he fully recovers!!!

This, in conjunction with hearing about John "Hot Rod" Williams dying from cancer today, is a sad sports day.

This is so sad. I can't seem to find much information on the web other than some "thoughts and prayers" tweets from Kalvin and Eric Herman.

Anyway, my thoughts are with Lavon and his family today...

Stunter,

Above, in response to a request for the correct spelling of Lavon's name I replied with his name and added a link to an old article about LaVon. The article was about him being suspended. I should have looked for one about him being drafted/signed or playing well. I think that might be it. I regret that.

Maybe you should regret panhandling for tickets on a thread about a guy who is facing a possible life-threatening situation.

I do regret that and when I learned of the seriousness of LaVon's situation I pretty much took myself to confession over it. As it turned out "Heartless" is kind of light.

Ok, its resolved. No hard feelings Bcat2.

I haven't seen any update yet. Tony Wolfe with the Post seems to be the only journalist talking about it on twitter.

But not enough to tell us who you are or what many on here think of your posts. To paraphrase Auntie Em - bcat2 - "well being a Christian woman, I can't say it."
