This time last month, I would've contributed that Dana Holgorsen would be out at WVU at season's end, but the Mountaineers just finished a perfect November (4-0 and probably really hoping they hadn't opened Big 12 play against all the top 4 teams in that league). If WVU goes on to beat Kansas State and AD Shane Lyons still fires Holgorsen, that would be surprising to me, at least.
As it turned out, Kansas State rallied to win 24-23. WVU is 7-5, 4-5 in the Big 12. One thing I've read on social media that I found interesting/funny is the #1 reason Lyons wouldn't fire Holgorsen: all of Lyons' top candidates to replace Dana have already taken jobs elsewhere...
