1. All FBS teams (including P5) play the same number of home games.

2. All out of conferences series are 1 for 1 (home and away).

3. No payments can be made to arrange an out of conference series.

Academic Validation of Scoring Plays - Touchdowns, Field Goals, and Safety's - Points will be awarded only after the scoring player provides a correct answer to an academic question in their field of study. If an incorrect answer is provided the closest defender to the play will be given an attempt to answer the question. A defenders correct answer will result in a touchback.
Dumb players will be discouraged — and tripped by their own teammates if they don't comply — from trying to catch players headed towards the end zone.

They could call it the Daz/Johnson rule: No such thing as a fumble! Ball hits the ground the team who muffed it gets it back where it hit and play is stopped. The only way to get a fumble is to take it away or catch it in the air.

Would speed up the game--was he down, did the ground cause, was the QB's arm going forward--doesn't matter with this rule change. May reduce injury of people diving for loose balls on the ground. Makes little guys valuable again and you wouldn't see a play like up in Buffalo two seasons past where our receiver makes a clean catch, gets held up and when the ref should have blown the whistle as progress was stopped, the defense yanks the ball out for the turnover.

Re Katzenmoyer. I remember the three summer school courses he took to retain eligibility: Aids Awareness, Golf and Music Appreciation.

Guy from my high school was going to Ohio A&M to play baseball on full scholarship (or so the story went). He was built like Randy Johnson so it was believable. Idiot failed AIDS awareness. I think he works at a gas station now or something like that

Edited to specify which A&M

Thought it was Golf Appreciation, Music Awareness and OSU Kool Aid Drinking.
