Yes, let's celebrate inarticulation and, cc, unwillingness to see and analyze the truth. Let's stick with a worldview regardless of whether it works.
His last 3 years Knorr 5 losses by 24 points or more. Solich's last 3, 8 losses by 24 or more.
So, let's keep being reverent on the status quo.
It's working so well.
If you're going to be disingenuous (what's so magical about 24-point losses and last 3 seasons other than it fits your narrative, hope you didn't have to spend too much time spinning this one up), at least be factual. Knorr had 6, He was also 10-25 overall and 7-17 in the MAC in his last 3 years. Solich is 21-17 overall and 13-11 in the MAC. So yeah, a lot of similarities.
Knorr
10/30/2004 L Kent St. 42-16
10/23/2004 L BG 41-16
11/28/2003 L Marshall 28-0
10/5/2002 L BG 72-10
9/14/2002 L Florida 34-6
9/7/2002 L Northeastern 31-0
More later as I'm really presed for time...I merely went to ESPN and it only has Knorr's last 3 years...I counted 5 for him but will re-check...
I admit 24 is somewhat arbitrary but it's still something of a standard for crushing losses... And Solich had 8 years before the last 3 whereas Knorr had only 1 year before his last 3. Solich had 7 more years to get his program in place.
cc--You're trivializing, total dismissal of vigorous discussion leaves no discussion...leaves merely things as they are. I know from our pm's that you think everything is on track. Fine if you think so. But I don't buy it at all.
11 years and no MACC, with the last four years being downtrend. I call that average at the very best.
And, do recall that I was as big a Solich supporter as there was until about the crashing stretch about a year after Miami stopped us after the 7-0 start and article in SI. So, I have my bona fides as someone who sees all sides of what Solich has been and is.
