I'll move my prediction over here. I don't see Ohio completely stopping WMU, but I think they will slow them, and I think Vick will be more mobile this week, so he'll run a little better and throw much better. I see it Ohio 35, WMU 21. I'll also guess 24,317 for the attendance.
No way we will have that high paid attendance with a noon start. Noon starts hurt attendance here. We will be lucky to have 20000 paid. Actual butt in seats will be 16000-17000.
I guess this bring up a few questions:
1. Does having a winning season attract more total fans, and bring more fans to games? If so, then attendance should be good.
2. Does playing a competitive team where a good, hard fought game is expected bring more fans to games? If so, attendance should be good.
3. Does a game on a Saturday with beautiful fall weather, Sunny and cool but not cold, bring more fans to the game? If so, attendance should be good.
4. Does a noon start really kill attendance? If so, attendance should be poor.
I went with the first three. The team is playing great, the foe will be good, and the weather will be beautiful. The early start sucks, but hey, it will still be a great day for football.
