It gets so miserably hot on the student side when the sun's out for these early games. No shade. Poorly designed.
Additional evidence of global warming since 1929. Somehow we played games at 1 and 2 every Saturday afternoon for 70 years in that miserably hot weather.

BORING and osu's killing it 65 miles up the road.

Might be time to change something.

Or we can stay not even an after thought, but not really a thought at all--for so many of our own students and alumni and friends.

I'm not saying that we need to be osu. But non-BORING ball and a MACC title would be nice.

Perhaps this occasionally becomes a "clown" board. Still waiting for the first "fan" to offer/express congratulations to Texas State.

OUch...but fair enough...we're sounding like the Marshall board after the first game last year...

Bring on the clowns! That's our battle cry after every loss in the last two years or so.

I'll add the hot weather and games during dining hall hours to the list of things to avoid when scheduling games.

So far, we have:
-Not too early. Students don't wake up early on Saturdays.
-Not on Friday nights as it conflicts with high school football.
-Not during Buckeyes games.
-Not on weeknights. Too hard for out of towners to get there and students have classes and/or need to go Uptown.
-Not when the temps are 81 degrees or higher.

I'll set up a Google calendar poll to see when the best time to have a game works for everyone's schedules.

Miserably long television game. I vote if it's not on an ESPN or major network, we say no to TV games. Boring product on the field. Seemed like mid '90s OHIO football. Just one game though, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully we look good against Kansas and put up a good fight against Tennessee.

I'm outraged that someone would steal the name of my beloved Cleveland Browns by using "Clowns" to describe the Bobcats. My Browns own the copyright and trademark to "clowns" and it took them since 1999 to prove they deserve it, actually probably 3 loses to Denver helped.
