We'll be in Section Z13, rows 4 and 5.

I'm striking out on the tailgate gathering. Just too early a kickoff. I'd be glad to meet all at the Bobcat Bash.
We'll be in Z 15 rows 14 and 15 which looks like we'll be looking into the sun. Agreed on too early a kickoff. Not sure what we're doing pregame but I'll try to stop by your section Robert and say hi. Been looking forward to this game for a long long time.

I can't believe all this time I've never met you. I live in Sevier County.

We're going to be really close to you! We are in Z13, row 5 - seats 8,9,10. Me, my wife, and my father in law (who has been a Vols fan and lived in East TN his entire life). I may have actually convinced him to cheering for the Bobcats. We'll see.

Might the jersey be decorated with one of those unique, also personalized buttons?

I'll be heading down today after work. Anything going on tonight? Looking like about a 6 hour drive?

Thanks for posting! I'm in seats 2 and 3. Stop by! Would be glad to meet you. Will be my wife and younger daughter (at least). Still wondering where my son will sit, either with us, or with his orange-clad high school buddies somewhere else in the stadium.

Sorry Alan. I had envisioned a grand tailgate, but I failed miserably. My son is traveling down from Athens and my daughter plays tonight at Eastern Kentucky. It's a whirlwind weekend. Would be very glad to meet you. I hope to get into the stadium about an hour early, so stop by if you're able.

If interested: Last year, the 110 shacked up in Maryville, TN and practiced at their HS field. I would think they might do the exact same thing this year. If so, Maryville is about 20 minutes south of Knoxville. The high school is on broadway and the field is easily visible from the road.

Other than that, the "strip" is the where you'll find the UT bars (Cumberland Avenue) just west of campus. If that's not your style, Calhoun's on the River is a great atmosphere. Walking distance from Neyland and right on the river. Great views.

The Old City is a good destination for local pubs. It's on the Northeast side of downtown. Market Square, downtown, also has a variety of cafes/pubs/coffee houses.

I'm sure his mom will be wearing the button.

Seriously! Safe travels and we're wondering where all the party's are (almost responsible 48 & 39 yr olds). The orange T's aren't even enjoying cocktails poolside!
