No offense to him, but I'm hoping someone other than Zervos is our leading scorer (or A scorer) this week
He could still be the East ST POW with, say, 6-6 PATs and a FG.
I'd be thrilled with that stat line and recognition for week 4! (I just think odds are that in that case someone else would have been good for >9 points...2 TD rushes/receptions, or a TD pass and rush, etc)

My biggest concern going forward is at DB. One of the newbies was torched for 2 TD vs UT. I know GW is no UT but this position is a glaring weakness right now and going into MAC play, in my opinion.

That's a reasonable place for concern, and it's been my main concern all along. As the the year progresses, they will gain experience, and presumably improve. I expect the same to happen at offensive line.

unfortunantly no I am the GWU beaat writer for our local paper but for some odd reason, the prep team I cover plays on Saturday this week instead of Friday
So the "beat" - is not the "beat" (spell check that "unfortunately"). That "prep" team - must be newsworthy stuff - tell us more :)

I hope GW comes with some determination - and I hope we counter with some "relentlessness"......that involves a lot of 2-3 deeps.......

After watching that - I'll go with

OHIO 44
GW 17

( I think I was the closest predict vs TN last week (TN 31-OHIO 23)

Since this game is not televised except on ESPN3, why is it a 200 pm start instead of a night game? The heat factor will be just as bad or worse than for the Texas St game.

It probably wasn't anticipated when they set the game time 10 days ago that it would be so hot with only a week left in September. The average high temperature this time of year is 73. The average low is 50. A night game could be pretty chilly.

My guess is Parents Weekend. And then TV would decide if it was Noon, 2 or 3:30.

My wife says it's because the AD doesn't really care about the fans. I think that's a little harsh, but she is very adamant about it. She says the same thing about the November mid-week games, too. She is a former Bobcat athlete, and a member of Varsity OHIO, so I guess she knows more than I do about athletics.

Parents Weekend is always an afternoon game. I think they have a number of other activities slated for night on campus.

Besides, it's September 23. It's not supposed to be 85!!

Commuting from Cbus 2:00 start is perfect. No need for hotel night prior or night of.
