No one knew it?? I knew it! In fact I stated it a long time ago too. Go back and look what I was saying about them before spring ball even rolled around. I said BG was imploding and even prior to that way back in December I said Ohio would win the East.

I still wouldn't take anything for granted. If we have our patented "month where we forget how to play football" in October this year we could be eating a heaping pile of crow in a couple weeks.

Obviously I hope that is not the case... the MAC sucks out loud this year (particularly the East, the damn directional Michigans are the flag bearers so far) and this is the year to jump on that and not randomly sleepwalk through a month.

BG's only win was by 1pt over an FCS team that scored a TD at the end of regulation and opted to for the 2pt conv and the win instead of kicking the PAT and going to OT. Last year's Division winners are a combined 1-7 this year. craziness.

A really ugly thought just crossed my mind, and what better place than BA to share ugly thoughts? ;-)

Could Mike Jinks be another Cleve Bryant? That is, a good player who is not head coach material. I really wouldn't wish that kind of misfortune even on Bowling Green. Maybe in a dark moment I could hope that the Evil Empire would have such luck when they have to replace Suburban, but I wouldn't wish it on any of our MAC brethren.

The BGSU AD that hired him left soon thereafter (realized he made a mistake??)...

Not to mention, Jinks moved from HS coach to BG's coach in less than 4 years.

Time will tell, but I tend to think that BG is in trouble.

I don't want to be that school that does things like this... but if we get rolling, this is one instance where I won't be upset if we hang 70 on a team.

That said, I just don't think we are capable of scoring 70 on anyone.
