I apologize.

Clearly, suggestion that everything is not perfect--any criticism--will not be tolerated. (Well, certainly unless it's not perfect in form and detail.)

Because there's nothing wrong with our program as constituted.

In fact, congratulations to everyone for the effort that they're giving. And, the results are quite in line and not to be questioned.

And, of course, thank you to the parents of all involved.

True, except I basically..Can you read at all...said that we played as well as we could...with my only quibble being that really uninspired call on what was about the most important play of the game for us.

We have a reading disability here? You're seeing a whole team of psychologists, aren't you?

Please try putting the hate for me away and reading what I actually post.
Although your rant wasn't directed at me I wonder if you have trouble reading your own posts? Your only 'quibble' wasn't just the UTM. You stated Windham is inconsistent and limited. Almost 1000 yards total offense in 3 games isn't too shabby. About 800 passing and 220+ running. Rather than give him some credit or complements you say "he's limited". Classy.

If there's a reading disability it might be with you reading your own posts.

What is so mind blowing is we were 27 point underdogs, hung with Tennessee the entire game and stayed in it even after losing Brown and a couple of defensive backs. Guys stepped up and Monroe wants to rant. He never sees any positives but ALWAYS finds what he perceives as negatives.

Fair enough, OCF. I hope that you enjoyed the game. As I said, generally I think we played about as well as we can. Was it hot in the stadium, any wind?

I missed a play or three, but I remember about no runs for much by Papi. Stats that I see on ESPN say that he had 8 carries for 21 yards so I don't think that he had too many good runs. (of course 8 net for 21 includes some runs for losses so could be some longer runs in there.)

He consistently did not run outside for much today or last week.

Here's the thing: That Papi UTM on third down with about 4:20 to go was a really big play. A key play. And we flunked it by calling a horribly conceived play.

Yes, the td off fake to the RB--very good. It included a fake. None such on the Papi UTM.

Side notes: Arkansas destroying TX State. I've seen a few minutes of it and I think Arkansas is much better than Tennessee (though Tenn had 3 guys out entering today and last 3 guys in the game so it's somewhat difficult to compare).

To the question as to whether I've played or coached football (by CABobcat?): You are better than that. That query doesn't speak to the validity of my thoughts. You've never been or run for POTUS...does that make your thoughts on politics totally wrong or mean you can't vote?
I don't spew my thoughts 7,000 times about things I know nothing about. You do.
What's your point? Why so angry? I point out more facts and specific analysis than any other (no 'we're on the verge of great years' stuff)--what about that angers you?

Does it really make sense to you that my points can't make sense if I haven't played or coached...but can if I have?

I don't fathom why anger at my points makes them wrong?
That can't be farther from the truth. You throw out less facts and analysis than anyone on here. You set up strawhorses and call them facts. But that doesn't make it so. Greg Windham is limited is a "fact"?

You're a five-year-old. You don't know what it is that is being done wrong or how it needs to be changed. You just want it "done right".
Monroe is of the view the fans are dumb and in a slumber about the Solich program so he's playing the devil's advocate to wake people up. That couldn't be further from the truth. A lot of fans here are critical of Solich and ready for an upgrade. I was about to post a thread about red zone efficiency and logged on here to find someone already beat me to it. Fans whether its our school or another are smart and know bad or good football product when they see it. There are a couple of fans on here who I'm not going to name that believe success is correlated to a teams experience chart and love the idea of a guy by the name of AJ on the field. They see Frank as a pal they can talk football with instead of a guy that has to deliver. It's 3 perspectives then; Frank is winning, Frank is losing and I don't care about how he's doing so long as its Frank at the helm.

Can anyone just enjoy the game for the game's sake? It's a beautiful fall day, you're watching your alma mater on the field. The young men, if you can remember when you were that age, are giving it everything they have. It's the highlight of their life to play and they will look back on it fondly when they are old like most of us. You see some old friends and make some new ones. There is some drama and some good plays and some bad plays. You hear the band play and think back to your days on campus. Sounds pretty good to me.

Remember that Monroe said the Cavaliers shouldn't draft LeBron because he wasn't good enough. Enough said.

BINGO!!! Well said and is exactly how I feel! I will never crucify an Ohio head coach who wins more than he loses, whose players get good grades and seem to represent the alma mater well off the field. I got my degree from Ohio, not that school 90 minutes northwest up Rt.33. I'll leave the "8-5 isn't nearly good enough for me so fire the freakin' coach and his staff" crowd to them.

Although, that being said, in a homage to Monroe, I would like to see a MACC someday. :)

The last sentence ...

Who knows, Ohio might even be 4-0 right now.

WOW! 4 - 0 after 3 games!! That would be magic by Albin.

I think there factoring in a victory this week. Albin's statement is his statement and the authors statement is his statement. There is really no way to twist it.
