Are you fellas not giving Akron a thought as the east champ? They took care of business at the Tater Bowl and finished tied with the Bobcats as distant 2nd bests.
Akron loses quite a few players this year:
WR - 2 starters (Pratt, Davis)
OL - all 5 starters (Williams, Brumbaugh, Bohan, Brown, Osborne)
QB - backup (Pohl)
RB - starter and backup (Hundley, Alexander)
DL - starting DT and NG, plus backup DE (Coe, Grice)
LB - all three starters (Evans, Monroe, Brown)
DB - 3 starters and a backup (Givens, Cheek, Senter + Turner)
ST - Punter and placekicker (Paul, Stein)
So, they lose 8 starters on offense, 8 on defense, and both kickers. It seems to me likely they will have some rebuilding to do. That doesn't mean they can't bring in a lot of transfers and still be OK, but it does reduce the continuity.
