You'd have more credibility if you put your analysis on the line and make some game-by-game predictions instead of just carping with selective data dumps, and then figuring that a flimsy argument can be bolstered by repetition. It's not that you don't have some valid points, but your points virtually never support your conclusions and you continually dismiss any data which doesn't bolster your current mantra. Remember when last year you repeated time and again how we hadn't beaten a MAC team with a winning record? Then we beat Akron and NIU, and you pivoted like a political candidate to the number of "crushing defeats" we had suffered to MAC leaders over the last three years. At the same time that you pivoted, you ignored various stats that indicated that the team was improving. You have an agenda-driven approach to posting on the football forum. And, you agenda is clear. Therefore, sane folks will not have too much trouble picking out your few valuable insights from your polemic-laden discourse.
What universe are you living in?
Apparently, the one that disregards about four years filled with mostly wins over cupcakes, innumerable crashing defeats to peer teams, 11 years with no MACC, etc, etc, etc--but offsets it all win one nice win.
I have one agenda: a MACC.
I do critique specifics within that agenda, I do point out the things that we do that won't get us there (thousands of posts because so much here) and the things that we should do to get us there (again, many--most recently, throw a lot to Smith and Reid).
You let your anger cloud reasonable reality too often my friend.
Blocking my pm's and email to you was rather childish in my view. I never cut off discussion with my friends no matter how vigorous the discussion.
I recognize that friendship is not diminished by frank discussion. I recognize that friendship survives even if each side thinks the other's sports or political opinions are whacko.
Yes, at times it takes a sense of humor to shrug off the other side's so-wrong point of view. So, I have a sense of humor. You?
