Maybe a bowl game depending on how other commitments play out.

QB play has me a little unsure what to expect as we have very little returning experience since Sprague is no longer going to be on the field.

I will also believe it when I see it that this team will not fall victim to the late October/November loss fest that consumed past teams.

There is absolutely no way in you know where that we are below .500. I say worst case is we go 7-5 with losses to Vols, BG, Central, Toledo and either Akron or Beefs. At best we lose to Tennessee and one MAC team of either BG, Toledo or Central. I would love to Row the Boat and beat Western and that pretty boy PJ Fleck in the MACC Game. And losing to Kent will not even be thought of. They lost their best player for the season already to injury.

I think we'll probably go 8-4 with losses to Tennessee, BG, Toledo, and CMU. But that's not my official prediction. This is my official prediction:

9/3 vs Estado de Tejas - Win. Something along the lines of the opener at New Mexico State in 2011.
9/10 AT Kantsas - Win. They're bad, guys. Really bad.
9/17 AT 10'see - Loss. Just don't get hurt. Just don't get hurt.
9/24 vs The Other GW - Win. Typical FCS game. Closer than you expect early, superior depth allows us to pull away comfortably in the 2nd half.
10/1 AT Fiami - Win. Miami sucks.
10/8 vs BGSUcks - Win. Revenge game on homecoming. We'll be ready.
10/15 vs Large Flightless Bird - Win. EMU sucks.
10/22 AT Kant State - Loss. The WTF loss of the year.
10/27 AT Fat Man U - Win. The WTF win of the year.
11/3 vs New York State University at Buffalo (University of Buffalo (Buffalo, NY)) - Win. Buffalo always plays us tougher than we play them, but it's at home, so I think we get it.
11/15 AT Central - Loss. CMU has Frank's number, and I think CMU might be the West's sleeper.
11/22 vs Kron - Loss. The November swoon strikes again.

Akron's win over us gives them the East, Terry Bowden gets hired away before the MACC (to....we'll say.....Vanderbilt...because why not?), and WMU wins the championship. PJ Fleck is hired by Nebraska, once someone in Lincoln realizes how weird of a hire Mike Reilly really was. PJ Fleck pays back Frank for his counsel in the MAC and schedules an Ohio Bobcat game at Nebraska in 2021.

Took me a while to get Fat Man U, but I laughed when I figured it out.

Since Kent's 11-3 season, its first winning season in seemingly forever, the Flashes have gone 4-8, 2-9, 3-9. This year? Before they host Ohio, they will have played at Penn State and Alabama, hosted Akron, and for the two weeks before the Bobcats come calling will be on the road at Buffalo and Miami. I could see the Flashes losing all those games. Their only seemingly assured wins: home to North Carolina A&T and Monmouth. Home to Ohio? How much piss and vinegar still will be coursing through Flashes veins?
