It is possible with or without Zaire. Zaire makes us significantly better offensively. If our pass defense gets a little better, who should we concede a loss too. Who is an acceptable loss?
allen. Great buildup of Zaire. I am in the camp that believes he will go elsewhere. More likely, yet still a long shot, is Morris of Michigan. I wonder if you really expect Zaire or if this is a house of cards you are building in order to set us up for a summer of "Solich can't win in the living room?"
Bcat2 stop being a lackey, you can read other peoples messages. Doc Bobcat said Coach Izzy's tweet was about Zaire and I got excited. I am rooting for Solich and the Bobcats and illuminating what I think may be problems. I have mad no judgements on this class. I am letting the coaches do what they do. I love Keszei and Ellison. I like Drake and the CB. I even like the new running back we offered who has no other fbs offers. In the past, we were not winning in the living room and we lost games because our athletes could not compete with upper echelon MAC teams. FS admitted last year, he said did not sign a QB because we could not land the guy, he said in the past they would have taken a guy. If you are as big of a cheer leader as we think, you should have heard this and you should have heard about coach Izzy's tweet.

11 yard catch will not get him drafted before Davis. He hd 90 catches last year and 18 this year.

It's not always about the draft, it's about the experience sometimes and the young man is probably having a much better time right now than anyone at BG.

I am beyond tired of discussing Zaire and he's not even at Ohio. Now he's popping up in threads everywhere. This is gettng about as bad as ESPN's infatuation with Tim Tebow. I hope to God he decides to go somewhere besides Ohio and that he doesn't wait until after spring to announce where it's going to be.

Good for you. Doc bobcat said he was coming and i expressed excitement about it. Coach Izzy tweeted about a special playmaker who committed and it was rumored to be him. I am flattered by your envy, but you should stop. Envy and mediocrity are bad for your health.

It's not about acceptable losses. It's about being realistic. Our pass defense is one of many concerns going into next year. You act like we're loaded and should be preseason ranked or something

We do not play anybody. It's all a moot point, since Zaire is not coming. If we have the best QB in the conference, three good running backs and un offensive line. On defense, we play 10 defensive lineman, four are leaving. We have good players returning. We have two All-MAC LB's returning plus good depth at that position. Hagan and Williams return at safety, both are pretty dynamic and then we have question marks at cornerback and wide receiver. It is conceivable that we could run the table, but when you are feeble minded and expect failure or you are just a naysayer, you will not believe. Winning starts with believing, then leadership, talent and execution and some goodwill along the way. I never look at our schedule and see a loss, especially next year, Once again, it is moot point since Zaire is not coming, but we can't expect the coaches to land 4 star recruits, when we go after one and we say why should he come here, That's being hypocritical. Can we run the table with great quarterback play next year of course we can and you trying to win arguments throwing darts means nothing.
Four years ago Papi White was committed to Oklahoma State university, we flipped him to Ohio in the first week of February. We have a former player on this board who had over 20 offers including Nebraska and picked us. I believe he was a Street and Smith All-American.
Should we be ranked of course not, we finished 58th in the power rankings and lost our last two games. Can we be ranked if we were to run the table next year? Of course we can.
