I can speculate. Isphording recruits Cincinnati. So perhaps LaSalle WR/RB Christian Turner? Although usually LaSalle is pretty good about tweeting out commits.

I would be SHOCKED if a guy like Zaire came to Ohio. But when you see tweets about how Ohio football "just got a whole lot better" and "BALLER ALERT" and "Stud play-makers" it's gotta be something big.

Possible. But I get the feeling this is a guy who is coming in next year to start with collegiate experience and that it is a QB for some reason.

If it's a transfer, likely he's enroll for Spring, in which case the news should be out soon. If it's an incoming Freshman, we won't know till he announces as the coaches can't say anything. 247Sports has been up to the minute with announcements all season, and nothing it showing at the moment:

You also have to take into consideration these coaches are coming at with a slanted perspective. They're going to be overly pumped about any recruit. That's part of the recruiting game.

So it could very well be someone most of the casual Ohuo fans don't really know or wouldnt classify as a stud

I imagine it will be a QB....but a name like Christian Turner could garner those kind of tweets.

Well, one of the tweets came from the offensive line, which I think is the players, not the coaches. I scanned back, and the only other recruit I saw mentioned by the offensive line twitter account was a line recruit, so for them to tweet about a playmaker behind them seems unusual. It could also be a running back, I suppose.

Coaches over react to recruits. Fans over react to losses. Nature of the game. Will be interesting to find out what is going on. Per other thread I'm guessing Michigan QB grad transfer. Exciting but not OMG. Now if a QB wants to come home....

I'm not sure I would use the word bizarre, but it's certainly a strange one and it is strange to have such a tantalizing tweet followed by utter silence. None of the usually suspects, like bobcatblitz, have uttered even a hint from their impeccable inside sources. Sounds like Solich has forced everyone in the know to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Me, I'm sticking by my earlier prediction: either it's Burrow transferring to OHIO, OR, it's Monroe being hired as OC. Now, it's possible it's both of the above. What a combination that would be! ;-)

It's none of the above OCF....and I only used the word bizarre for 2 reasons....the hush/hush hoosh/hoosh I'll tell ya but I would have to kill ya secrecy of the news and the possible impact on Ohio Football.

If word on the street is correct we can change this story from bizarre to Ohio being the pick for MACC 2017.

Burrow transferring to Ohio makes almost zero sense. For one, if he did, he'd need to be sent up to the Ridges for further examination. The kid is in line to potentially be the starter for Ohio State in a year and change. And if he actually does want to transfer, he could go pretty much wherever he wanted. But he'd lose a year of eligibility sitting out another year because he's already redshirted at Ohio State in 2015.

Ok, let's get nuts. Insanely unbelievable possibilities:
1. We get an osu QB transfer, but not Burrow: JT Barrett
2. Harbaugh to the NFL is legit, so Jabrill Peppers follows the trail blazed by Keith Heitzman and Tom Strobel and transfers to Ohio
3. Tyrone Swoopes gets an extra year of eligibility from the NCAA for some reason and doesn't like Tom Herman.
4. Ummmmmm, someone from Alabama? Jalen Hurts should be the starter the next 3 years, so one of their 4 star backup QBs swung by Mobile, chatted with Isphording, and signed on?
