I am mildly surprised that there has been no announcement. Usually the recruit himself puts is a Facebook, Twitter or somewhere else.

Based on a post by the oline, it's an offensive playmaker. Given that Isphording was pleased, it might be a QB, but IDK whom. Maybe Morris? I can easily understand how a QB recruit could look at Ohio and think "this could be a really good team with me at QB".

If it's Morris, or some other QB, that opens a big competition for the QB spot next year, and much more depth than this year.

I'm guessing it's a transfer, probably a grad transfer, probably from a P5 school, and probably a QB.

What top offensive recruit would come to Ohio with Albin still as the OC? The only possible answer would be a grad transfer that is interested in the Sports Administration program. That program is good enough to justify spending time on that side of the ball.

Malik Zaire? I know that's a stretch but if it's really big news then it would have to be someone of that caliber.

Certainly possible since he's from Ohio. I would throw Michigan's Shane Morris in the mix too. But I'm really not a fan of a one year QB transfer if that is even the case here.

It without a doubt seems like an offensive player and I'm getting the clear impression that it's a skill player and not an OL. If also seems like it's going to be a transfer over a high school verbal to me.

I think that's why Zaire's name popped up...we don't normally get these kinds of tweets. If it is someone else it might be someone we haven't thought of yet. I doubt if Morris or George would
cause these kinds of tweets.

Dude, relax. Zaire was brought up only because the tweet (original post) makes one think the player is big time. I think most here are prepared for the fact it's not actually someone like Zaire.

I can speculate. Isphording recruits Cincinnati. So perhaps LaSalle WR/RB Christian Turner? Although usually LaSalle is pretty good about tweeting out commits.
