L.C.: You see our QB recruiting on the upswing? Please provide more info. compared to past QB classes.
I could give you reasons why I think that Maxwell, Rourke, Keszei, and Mischler are better than the quarterbacks that Gdowski recruited, but it wouldn't matter. The proof is in the performance, and we'll have to see how they look on the field. In any case, here's a list of QB recruits which I think is more or less accurate:
Gdowski recruits:
2005 Jones, Febus, Bower (transfer)
2006 Sweeney, Schlicter (walkon)
2007 T3 (Juco)
2008 Jackson (Juco)
2009 Bates (xfer), Tettleton,
2010 Snyder
2011 Vick, Bell
2012 Windham, Sprague (walkon)
2013 none
2014 Duckworth, Leffingwell (walkon)
Isphording recruits:
2015 Maxwell
2016 none
2017 Keszei, Rourke (juco)
2018 Mischler (verbal)
For, more data for your consideration, here are the QB Pass Efficiency ratings for the above, ranked from lowest to highest:

Bates 2010 92.4, 2011 450.6; Career=156.4
Some of the numbers above are fore a very low number of attempts, and are not particularly meaningful. I trust that most fans know which players were the primary QBs in which years. The median for Gdowski QBs lies between Brandon Jones and JD Sprague.
