Gotta shake that "run first" reputation that has developed through the years. Whoever UTM doesn't make the better QBs sit up and take notice.
If I were to guess the past problems, I'd say that it was the lack of QB improvement under Gdowski. Bower improved, and Everson, but then everyone else seemed to stay about the same. I think QB recruiting is picking up because the quarterbacks in the system are improving from year to year.
