It seems pretty clear from those last two interviews that Kylan Nelson will be back at Safety this year, not at corner.

I like the depth this year at safety with Cunningham and Gullett backing up the starters. You may even see a true freshman getting some pt.

There are still a few players missing. It's hard to know if they still have work to be done, or if the players are missing for a reason.

One pleasant surprise was an OL walk on that I wasn't sure about. We seemed to have lost a bunch of OL guys from the past like Murdock and Beadle. This guy was a teammate of signee Kittrell in Nebraska. 6'5"-290 OL Cole Irland has a nice HUDL vid showing decent effort.

My girlfriend is from Omaha so we root for the Nebraska kids.

Lack of OL depth always scares me.

Nice Haines interview on the TE players. This might be OUr strongest position at least depth
wise...maybe talent wise.l

TJ Robinson
Isiah Cox
Vonnie Watkins
Marquis Grimes
Zach Murdock

Can we conclude that they are not with the team? That would not be safe, and here's proof that at least one of these is still with the team:

Robinson, Cox, and Watkins are present, but not in Fall camp due to NCAA clearinghouse issues. Grimes is indeed present. Murdock is not mentioned, so presumably he is not. Tim Helton and Heath Wiseman have apparently left the team, and Jeff Christian is present, but not in camp due to academic issues.

A late addition to the class, either as a walkon or scholarship, is Siurpry Rinvil, a 6-4 WR from Florida who was 2d team All-metro in Palm Beach County.

Ballentine made it, I think he will be good in the future. I don't know if Xavier Bailey made it. I heard that Keszei is pretty good. Sad news Wyatt Shallman and Cam Odom are both injured and Dorian Brown is still wearing a red jersey Go Cats.

Per Arkley's blog, Amir Miller is out for the season with a knee injury while Wyatt Shallman is out indefinitely with a knee injury. Miller had been showing well early in camp.

I heard that Bailey was in Athens less than 48 hours. Going to run track at YSU according to a person who knows about him.

The Miller injury is really unfortunate. He caught my eye last year at a practice I attended. Kid is long. The DL depth will be tested. Hopefully someone steps up.

Either Sam McKnight or Will Evans will need to step up. Both are capable. One of the true freshman might work inside to put Berger back at DE.

Haven't heard much about the CBS. Saw a nice piece on the safetys and not worried about them. New CB coach and some new talent hopefully will get the job done.
