Eleven Sports is an interesting network that showed up without fanfare on my AT&T UVerse package.

UMass announced in August that all their home games would be on Eleven worldwide as well as regionally on NESN or it's subchannel.

It's a UK based channel that also carries Ivy League and Big Sky football. At this moment, it has an eSports league to be followed by Belgian soccer then Spanish basketball.

So they've got that going for them.

I have spectrum. When I called them about eleven sports, I was told spectrum is different from time Warner. Spectrum does not have a contract with eleven sports but time Warner still might?

Their website tells me that in South Central Ohio with Spectrum there should be an Eleven Sports Network in SD on channel 839. No such channel on my service and we have EVERYTHING Spectrum offers. It'll be a nice afternoon to tune in on the radio and sit out on the porch with a tall glass of BobcatAde (or 12).

I actually called Spectrum and was told Spectrum no longer has a contract with Eleven Sports even though channel 839 tells you to call for that channel. However, I was told Time Warner still has a contract? I thought they were the same thing with the purchase by Spectrum of Time Warner but I guess not. At my last annual anti-gouging cable renegotiation, part of the deal was switching over to Spectrum from Time Warner. Again, I thought they were the same but no, Spectrum's packages are a little different than Time Warner. I do have more channels that I didn't have before but not Eleven Sports.

Summary of what Whip will say without coaches speak.
"We have 4 starts injured and we are not going to say anything about it. "
We'll see about Ford, Moses, Breneman, and Driscoll. We have a two week bye following the game and if they are not good, hope they sit out this game and heal.

I think I can shed a little light on this. About six months ago I called Spectrum to see if I could reduce my monthly bill. I discovered that by default Spectrum keeps you on your previous TWC Plan. However, if you call them, you can switch to a cheaper Spectrum plan. I managed to retain all the channels I wanted to keep (including all the major sports channels) and save more than $50 a month by switching to a new Spectrum plan. I would have thought when Spectrum bought TWC that this kind of switch would have been automatic, but it is not. So, if you haven't switched to a Spectrum plan, you are probably still on a TWC plan, even if you are paying bills to Spectrum, and I suppose you could get Eleven Sports.

I think game conditions will dictate if Maxwell plays. If we can set aside a few possessions for Maxwell it would be good but if it is a tight game I expect we go for the W and keep Rourke in if he is effective.
I guess it is possible that Rourke has a cold hand and the coaches go to Maxwell.

Best outcome? A "W" and some PT for Maxwell.

The game was too tight to put Maxwell in for even a series at EMU. It was a one-possession game throughout, and even though we didn't score a lot we moved the ball well. Drives stalled because twice because receivers fumbled downfield. And the one thing Roarke hasn't done is panic. He didn't just pitch the ball downfield while under pressure and looked in control most of the game. I expect Maxwell to gets some PT this week, and not just in garbage time. Given the length of the EMU game and the 90-degree heat, I expect a lot of guys who were standing on the sidelines most of the day will see action this week.
