Is this someone's Photoshop handiwork ... or an actual screengrab from ESPN? If it's real, I'd love to see the actual story from TV!

If it's Photoshop ... kudos! It's a helluva mockup!

It has to be fake. It shows SC running 6 stories in a row on Ohio. I think the creator did a good job in making it look real but there was no intention by the creator to fool anyone into thinking that it actually was real. It is intentionally over the top.

It seems the MAC has to find proverbial diamonds in the rough to get future stars onto their rosters. Most people are familiar with the fact that Ben Roethlisberger had to wait to play QB until his senior year at Findlay High because the coach's son was in front of him on the roster. Nathan played high school football at Holy Trinity High School in Oakville, Ontario. While a prominent Toronto suburb familiar to HGTV home remodeling folks, it's hardly a hotbed of American college football recruiters.

He's really making a difference for our current team and future recruiting. Every once in a while, you just have to get lucky.

Getting our players on watch lists and picking up national awards should be a target. Heisman campaign for Rourke next year good way to market the program.

Let’s hope for both....better recruiting and luck.

I wouldn't say our improved recruiting is exactly luck. Frank and Company are very good at identifying talent. They been getting better and better at signing the talent that they have targeted. It's been a slow but gradual process of getting just a little better each year, with one or or two downturns, but the general direction of the graph is upwards. If these season results in a MACC, I expect even better recruits this year as success usually breeds success.

That is an awesome Photoshop job. I hope he has the opportunity to do it again this season. :)

Watched the most recent episode of "Zips Football Weekly with Terry Bowden" on Sports Time Ohio (STO) just to see what may be brought up on Ohio game. Found it interesting that Bowden discussed Akron's recruitment of Rourke and that (in his opinion) Rourke chose Ohio over Akron because Nathan preferred the small town college experience over a city university.

Rourke did have some interest on Akron from an article last year:

"...the offer from Akron has him intrigued.

"They have a guy coming back next year who will be a senior and they want someone who has played college football before to be the backup," Rourke noted. "They feel like I could come in and push him and compete for the spot, but if not, then I could be the backup and be ready to take over in 2018.

"They said they really liked my work-ethic and how I prepared for things and they said I fit with what they were looking for in a quarterback.""

Always makes me smile to see a kid makes an intelligent choice for his/her education. This team has opportunity to really be amazing the next couple of years if guys can stay healthy and no surprises crop up.

So he chose Ohio over Akron because Athens LACKS a mall?

My entire world has just been flipped upside down.

People were acting like he was a household name in college football similar to Sam Darnold.
I legit have no idea who Sam Darnold is and I'm very familiar with Nathan Rourke...so there.

Exactly. National attention on success can help drive further success.
