Here's how the MAC has fared against OOC competition (year-to-date totals in parentheses):

1AA: 2-0 (7-0)
G5: 1-1 (1-2)
"P5"*: 1-5 (1-10)
*-- including ND
Akron should get partial credit for Colorado's win over Nebraska.

Looking at the stats for that game made me glad for Quentin Maxwell, who has elected to stay at Ohio, and continue to compete for the starting job. As a result, Ohio has two very good quarterbacks, either of which can lead Ohio to a good season. At Nebraska, there were three quarterbacks competing for the starting job. After one came out on top, the other two transferred. When the starter got hurt against Colorado, Nebraska had no real backup, and turned to a walkon who came in and went 4-9 with a pass efficiency of 90..... and lost.
