Is Quinten Maxwell playing QB? Nathan seems to have no touch on his passes and has been considerably inaccurate.

And I hate that ESPN Plus doesn't show down and distance.

This team is treating this like an exhibition game. I'm not sure I would have pulled a rusty Rourke.

Nothing is going right in this game--a bad punt by Farkas never happens!


How could they not spring for the down and distance?

Coaching is terrible today.

Biggest mistake of the game--not challenging the touchback on the opening kickoff. You gotta take the game seriously.

Second biggest mistake. Three pass plays from inside the ten. Terrible.

Where are the countrer plays--Howard is flying around and vulnerable.


I don't know what ot make of bringing in Maxwell. Maybe it helps Rourke stay fresh for the second half comeback.

Go back to Rourke if healthy and ground & pound now imo Q is on fire tho! I think we have a great problem at QB with both guys having won games. This secondary without Hagan is suspect.

PAPi white is phenomenal, he creates separation and catches the ball with his hands. Odom has potential, he cannot catch the ball consistently with his hands in traffic. Irons is back, with improved vision.AJ is adequate. Maxwell has been slinging the ball well, he makes the wrong read sometimes on the run pass option, but he is smart so he can pick it up. The problem is our defensive backs don’t get their head around in coverage, we could have broke up that last touchdown. Their db’s are better than ours and that is a darn shame. The dB coach needs to go. The face guarding and trying to pop the ball out is a horrible strategy. The short kicks on kickoffs are stupid, so we need to improve our coaching. Our defensive line is getting pushed around, I like the freshman, he keeps the edge. Let’s hope we pull it out in the second half.

I assume Rourke will start 3rd qtr. If not effective Maxwell will finish the game. Frank probably was going to Maxwell in 2nd qtr regardless.

Solich just avoiding Virginia getting any real look at Rourke. All part of the chess match. Seriously though, I thought he benched him for the half because of the stupid little toss pass that should have been intercepted. Would have thought he would be back in if he wasn't injured.
