Also had an offer from Georgia State. Undersized player from Chattanooga who finished second in the conference in passer rating allowed (albeit a vastly distant second) to recent Purdue commit Dee Newsome.

No fluke, had 22 as a senior in HS.

Just a lil fella, but so was Brawley, clearly has a motor on him and quick hands. Excited to see what he can do with DJ over top.

And FWIW, Brune has not changed his bio, still tagging OhioFB.

Folks like Harris removed it almost immediately. Could be something, could be nothing. His situation is, obviously, unique. I think there has to be a level of comfort he has now that won't be easily replicated or left behind. Even with Rosa/MTJ, he is starting to feel like someone who could pull his name out of the portal.

Tbh I hope Brune withdraws his name from the portal and comes back to us.

I won't lose sleep if he doesn't, but he would give us the depth we need at RB. Rosa/Taylor and then re-add Brune, and we'd have a group of 3 RBs that can all work together imo.

LOVE this signing.

Was a 225 pound DE at Western Michigan before transferring to Marin, put on 20 pounds and dominated. Also was a Rugby All-American in HS. 3* star, 24th ranked player in Indiana. Also had an offer from Iowa State.

2022 - WMU - RS
2023 - WMU - Played 2 games
2024 - Marin - 53 tackles, 13.5 TFL, 9 sacks
2025 - Marin - 60 tackles, 13.5 TFL, 7 sacks, 5 pbu

Does NAIA count against eligibility? He might have more than just one season.

This is the type of guy our staff has done a great job of bringing in and developing. Odjugo, Dukes, Marsh, Hermann--these guys who don't play a ton at big schools or who play a ton at smaller schools seem to meet in the middle. Our staff finds the experienced guys who can play like Hollenbaugh this year or Cam Rice a few years ago and marry them with the P5 guys like Hermann and Marsh (Boise should be considered P5) who are developed!!! It's a blessing and a curse because we lose these guys one year later! Street is going to inflict pain--mark it down!

I was looking up stats and wonder what the story is with their schedule. Check out the last four games.

Ineligible player.

Street looks like a keeper.

Couple him with OUr current defensive linemen and you have some nightmares for opponent QBs.

"Marian University's football team was withdrawn from the 2025 NAIA Playoffs in December 2025 due to an academically ineligible player participating in three playoff games after dropping a course, falling below the required 12 credit hours (11) for full-time student status, leading to vacated wins and the team's season ending prematurely, a situation the university self-reported and apologized for, implementing new checks."

TOUGH SCENE.

Thanks. I did notice they did play UIndy (their only non forfeit loss) and he outperformed Danny Royster, who we offered but chose JMU. Royster did have a 44-yard punt tho.WTH. Some great athletes at lower levels these days.

Will be interesting to see how the next week shakes out regarding the portal. IMO we will still be looking at OL and S and/or the hybrid position that Adonis played. I believe our new OL coach is in the fold and we should see some movement along that front soon. Hauser coached safeties so I'm not sure what will happen defensively regarding position coaches but it seems all current D assistants are locked in.

Tavita Thompson took OU off his bio a few weeks ago, he seems to be following a lot of Cal Poly stuff lately, and doesn't follow any of our recent offers or visa versa.
