He stuck a contested 17 foot jumper to win the game for George Washington over Morgantown in the WV AAAA title game. I saw it by video.

First-team all state as a junior. Averaged 13.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists with 20 blocks. Shot 42% from the floor and 86% from the line. This from his coach, Rick Greene, in the Huntington Herald-Dispatch: "He's the ultimate team player. Ben is that rare player that has a team ego over individual ego. He makes everybody better at the expense of individual stats."

If memory serves, after watching an on-line interview with Ben, he mentioned he had just turned 16 during his junior year. Did I hear that right? And if so, he still has plenty of time to grow.

Great find. Love this kid's motor. And he hit the game-winning shot in the state championship game as a sophomore? Sign me up. Curious to see how much he'll grow and how much weight he'll put on during his senior season. He might stretch out to 6'9 before it's all said and done.
