If he has a strong connection to the coaches and likes the players, he will come. Kirk turned down a lot of power 5 offers.
This seldom happens any more. Kids who get high major offers go high major.

Has he already visited? It would seem that announcing your official visits and not including Ohio is a pretty good indication where you're leaning (hint: not Ohio).
Not sure about official visits, but I'm pretty confident he's been here. Going into the summer his top two were Northern Iowa and Ohio.

What this tells me is that Northern Iowa was his number 1 between the two of us way back when. Shame to lose out on him. He woulda been a good one for us.

Saw Tyrese has started all 3 games and played all 40 mins vs Mizzou, looking good playing very disciplined from the small forward position.

This one is funny to look back on. We brought an NBA Max Player to the Rio Grande game to sell him on the program.

Interesting. Makes me wonder what recruit(s) we brought in for the recent Defiance titanic struggle.

Haliburton, by the way, was recently mentioned as the best American-born player in the NBA today. Not sure if that's true with LeBron still playing, but it says a lot about what some people think of him.

Honestly, I'm really impressed that Saul was forward thinking enough to find him on the recruiting trail. Very impressed.

Between he and Desmond Bane, I'm shocked Ohio was ever in the running.

Haliburton with 2 recent 20/20 games (pts/assists). One of those with 0 turnovers.

Steph Curry? Durant? Jason Tatum? Booker? Kawhai Leonard? Jimmy Butler?

I like Haliburton a lot and if I'm building a team he's high on the list of guys I take given his age. But Think that's a stretch.

I was in Gainbridge Fieldhouse last night. Deserves to be an All-Star starter in front of the Indy crowd and let's put him on the Olympic team cus he has it ALL.
