How does this relate to Caris LaVert?
It doesn't.  Check out the signature -- looks like classic SEO spam.

Leads team to close win over Newark. Intrigued by 6-6 teammate Taco (looking forward to seeing him and Caris when they play at Newark). Also keep on eye on Newark's Jordan Dartis, team's best player as a frosh.

He really seems to be flourishing his senior season. Great job to our staff for recognizing this during the summer.

Who to blame for "Chris Levert?" Autocorrect or copy editor?

Game is on right now. It's early but nice watching a future recruit.

Watched a little bit of the game and came away fairly impressed.  Caris is quite a good slasher and handles the ball very well. Not the purest shooting stroke I've ever seen.  At his height he looks like a combo guard, kind of like a Sonny Troutman type player if I had to make a comparison.

Except that Sonny was more muscular and stressed defense.

I see more Jaivon Harris from Alliance as the proper comparison(Gotta go back to 2001-2004).  Caris will grow into his body and hopefully acknowledge that defense needs to be played.

Central advances to play Newark, who made Central look lost and undisciplined last month and held LaVert to single-digit points. Central beat Newark earlier in the year by (I think) about 3 points. Newark has a freshman point guard, Jordan Dartis, to keep an eye on.

watched caris and co. advance to the regional finals tonite in a 2 pt. victory over Olentangy Liberty.  He scored 28, took a lot of shots to do it.  Personally, I would have liked to see him pass the ball a bit, but that might not have been the coach's strategy.  Pick Central will have a fun mantchup with Canton McKinley Saturday.  Good luck to Caris and his teammates!

LeVert had 28 points (5 three pointers) in Pickerington Central's win over Olentagy Liberty on Thursday night.   A buddy who was there said his shooting range and ball handling are ready for Div. I right now.

Caris scores 0 in the first half, but drops 14 in the second half as Pick Central beats Canton McKinley 60-51 to advance to state final four against Fairfield next Friday at 8:30.  Here is the box score, game story likely to come out later.
