Are there any known highlight videos of Taylor on the web?  My initial search for Ryan Taylor on YouTube turned up a different Ryan Taylor recruit.  Anyone got a link to moving pictures of Mr. Taylor in action?

Who was the most recent basketball recruit who graduated HS then took a year at a prep before coming to OHIO?  The football team would have a bunch so am wondering the Bobcat history of picking up talent seasoned at a prep.

Sayles, though there were rumors TJ Hall was going to do that.

Here's a full length game video of Ryan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEeds0P8Mcw
He's #10 in black/dark blue
After watching it I feel even better about this recruit. From the other videos I got the feeling he was more of a spot up shooter... In this game he had quite a few dribble drives, hit a couple mid-range shots and even had a dunk put back of a teammates miss. Not to mention a disallowed dunk at the (36:40 mark) over another player who was comparable in height that was a bit nasty. He has athleticism and length for a two guard fo sho'.
Two other things I noticed: He played the whole game. Don't know if that's really uncommon or not.  The other thing is that to my untrained eye, he had a better game than his 6-11 teammate who is headed to Georgia...

Thanks Borna. We had quite the post season bump in excitement after the Saul hire. Now, I don't want to wait to see what he can do with the guys already here and the new ones coming in.
Go Bobcats!

Same thing I thought.  Not much to gather from the first two videos other than he's got a nice consistent motion, albeit a little low on the release, on his jump shot.

By the way, can anyone figure out what the call was on that?  The ref is a little blocked so I can't see his full call but it doesn't appear to be a foul or a travel IMO.  It looks like he's signaling a push off but he doesn't convey any foul information to the scorer's table and no one is within arm's reach of another player at the time of the whistle.  If it is a travel it looks like a pretty bad call.

Is this kid on campus? Lots of tweets suggest that Kendall, Mike, and Jaaron are around for summer workouts, but I haven't seen anyone mention Ryan.

I was just about to ask he same thing. His twitter account that's linked to his VerbaCommits page has been deleted too.

Jason Arkley's article in the Messenger stated that him and all other recruits were at the first workout yesterday. The only new guy that wasn't there was Chandler, the transfer from Grambling or wherever.

Having watched Saturday's practice, I can tell you that this kid is a player.  Deadly three-point shooter, very athletic, seems to be very comfortable with his teammates.

We know what we're getting from Mo, Tony, Bean, Stevie and Treg. What we need for this year to be a success is for a mix of at least 2 or 3 of Khari, Wadley, Thomas, Laster and Taylor to step up. Watching highlights and hearing people I have to think that Thomas, Taylor and Khari will be fantastic MAC players.
