Visited Ohio Homecoming weekend. Teammate with Ndour at Monroe CC. Originally from Dominican Republic. Played HS ball at Notre Dame Prep. Averaged 6 points and 3.2 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game last year.

Pipeline!?

His recruiting profiles have him a couple inches shorter. I am assuming he has grown since getting to Monroe CC. Seems like a good get. Probably has some good handles for a 6-6 kid.

This class is really taking shape.

Looks like he played some point guard last year.

Point guards? We don't need no stinking point guards.

While the note that Nehemias has played some point makes me feel a little better, I have concerns if the last scholly isn't used to bring in someone at the point.  With two guys graduating next year at the PG spot, it would be nice to have another 4 year player on the horizon.  I'm scared to death of seeing an O'Shea-like team that has a load of good 4's and 5's, and wing players with no one to be the floor general.

I understand the concern. I am trusting JC on this one.

I would agree that our 5th recruit for this class has to be a PG. If it isn't, I assume one of the guys we have already signed is a point guard. We now have multiple guys who have been described as "played some point" between this guy, Crute and Wingfield.

We need someone to get the scoop on what position the staff sees these guys playing. We know they long a longer lineup... Some of these guys seem like they could be a taller PG.

This also tells me that the coaches are very pleased with Ndour.  If he was not producing and developing as they had hoped, I doubt they would reach so quickly for another player from the same program.

He is easily the most important part  piece of this year's puzzle.  Much is expected from him.  He will get more minutes than anyone else.

Nov 22nd - Central Florida vs. Monroe CC

A chance to see 2 future Bobcats square off (Morillo & Wiggington). Should be an interesting game.

Any chance there is a way to watch/listen online that we know of?

Nehemias is shooting 42.4% from the 3pt line this year. Also over 50% from the field overall. Sounds like he is a maker, not just a shooter.

Leading the team in scoring by a pretty wide margin at 15.9 ppg. Also noticed there is a freshman at Monroe wearing #5 (maurice's number) who is from the Senegal also.

The strength of the Senegal-Japan-MonroeCC-Ohio connection cannot be denied.

Now leading team in points (15.7), assists (3.1) and rebounds (5.3).  Second in blocks. Playing 25 minutes per game - also leads team.  Team is 10-0.

And Monroe plays a good brand of ball, so this is encouraging news.

Nehemias scores 17 tonight as Monroe stay unbeaten at the Fiesta Bowl Classic beating # 15 Salt Lake CC 74-71. SLCC has Garr Payton Jr.  Monroe takes on # 2 team in country tomorrow night at I think 10 PM.  All games from this tourney are available via the link provided earlier in this thread. Video feed is good and commentators are ok.

Quick update - checked out the Monroe CC site.  Nehemias cooled off the last two gamed and is now 2nd on points (barely and guy ahead plays few more minutes), still leads team in rebounds and steals.

Another update... Nice game last time out.  Just looking at his game by game stats, (You can see them here: http://www.monroecollegemustangs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=1728 ), looks as if he fell off quite a bit for a spell, and then didn't play for a span of games. I suspect injury but, I'm not in the know...
