No disrespect to RS, but as the "facts" pertain to your argument, you're working with hearsay.
Yeah - we should just ignore anything anyone says that Schaus said........

:/
I believe what you said RS. I don't believe what you said supports the broader conclusion Casper was trying to make. That's why I said "no disrespect".
OK - think I got it now

Situation, you are a good research guy. So why don't you send an email out to all the FB coaches, Athletic Admin guys and Top Administrative decision makers. Ask them if they read this site for advice or even care about what any of us has to say...you will probably find the results surprising!

I have stated explicitly that I do not believe that to be the case.

I must not be framing this properly.

Or maybe you didn't read the thread about the WMU posters on the WMU message board having a not negligible impact on their head coach (from text posted on said forum)?

In related news, the NCAA has reviewed Manziel in light of recent events and is going to let him come back and finish his last two years of playing college ball.

The fact I'm totally making this up and it's not true in any way and that no reasonable person would do this or believe it does not mean that the NCAA will not do it.

I about ran him over in my car a week ago. I came around a sharp turn on campus and he was walking across. I can only imagine the hatred that would have come my way if I would have ran him over.

Kenny, be careful jaywalking in nearly blind turns on campus.

Jaywalking in Athens is one of my favorite things to do.

Driving down Court Street at midnight on a Friday/Saturday is one of my least favorite things to do. 100% chance someone will jump out from behind a parked car and give you a heart attack.

Learning not to jaywalk all the time is a crucial post-Athens life adjustment if you don't want to get killed.

It's always funny to bring people that haven't been to Athens, or have only been once or twice down for a game. They're all about waiting for the lights, and not jaywalking while I'm trying to explain that it's a cultural norm in A-town.

I always found it funny watching freshman crowd around the corners near college bookstore/college green in the fall while upperclassmen were swooping past them with no regard for any sort of organization.

The diagonal crosswalks only adds to the mayhem.

It was always easy to spot a freshman because they look both ways before crossing a one way street.

A freshman or somebody who has been in Athens long enough to expect anything. I've seen multiple people drive the wrong way down west Union and jeff hill, and long boarders and people on bikes book it down jeff

As a 7th year senior, I would still look both ways when crossing one way streets...especially Court St. on a weekend night...

I was just perusing Verbal Commits and noticed Kenny is still listed as a sophomore with a MHS (Medical Hardship) next to his name, suggesting he still has three years left of eligibility. Is this just an assumption VC is making? Anyone have any ideas?

The official roster lists him as a Sophomore now: http://www.ohiobobcats.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/kenny_kami...

I'm not positive, but I thought that it used to list him as a Junior so maybe they know something we don't.

This article from bleacher report also lists him as having 3 years of eligibility left. Not that it means their correct by any means but still interesting to hear multiple sources say his got 3 years left. My guess are these reporters aren't doing their homework but I would love to be proven wrong on that front.

I think nobody knows anything until there is an actual "appeal". Schaus told me we would only have KK for 2 years - with a shrug and an expression that was anything but an indication of an absolute - maybe just not wanting to raise expectations.

Maybe they are waiting for KK to make a stronger case for himself - grades, stay outta trouble - then submit the appeal - ?
