Glad to hear there's some positive hype on this young man as he's been somewhat of the "mystery man" in this recruiting class.  Very little written or said about him on here, or anywhere, of much substance.  If he does in fact turn out to be a contributor, this will be really impressive on JC part to find these under the radar type big guys.  I did notice he had quite a few offers, still not one of the recruits I hear much about both on here, or from other Bobcat fans.

If Wadley beats out Jon Smith and Maurice N'Dour to start in the frontcourt... Wow.

I think they're looking at Wadley as a 4 instead of a 5.

Sounded like a 5. Got the impression both could start together. Could be wrong.

He was high on Ndour too, but I couldn't believe how high he was on Mompremier. Sounds like the staff thinks the kid is an absolute steal and can contribute significantly right away.

Listed as 6-10 on the roster. The other two incoming bigs are listed shorter, with Ndour is at 6-9 and Campbell at 6-8.
They also has his name as Wadly? Typo or have we been off all along?

It's Wadly.

I buy 6-10. I've seen him side by side with Campbell and Wadly is at least an inch taller. Very skinny though - almost no shoulder definition.

I imagine that one of those two will be redshirted, and with how high Christian was on Wadly at the caravans, it might be Antonio. With Smith, Ndour, Mompremier, and Setty, we might have the skinniest post rotation in the country. Then we get Owens next year... do teenagers not enjoy eating anymore?

In looking at a couple pictures, I am hopeful Mompremier and Owens frames are set to pack on some weight especially once they hit the college weight programs. That can be hard to forecast though... Jon Smith started skinny and is still skinny, but then other guys absolutely blow up when they get proper strength training. I guess when you grow from 6-3 to 6-8 in one year like Owens did, adding height alone takes all of your energy. I've never had that problem.

Redshirting a big makes sense. Its been mentioned that Setty can truly play the 3... I am skeptical a guy his size can do that until I see it, even with a coach like JC who likes big lineups

I had a chance to talk with JC at the Pomeroy caravan and was VERY surprised with his comments on Mompremier. He said that at this point, he's likely going to be a starter and may well come in and be one of the top big men the MAC has seen in a while. The coaching staff is extremely high on this kid...apparently think he is an absolute steal.

As an aside, I was shocked at how high JC was on next year's team. It's clear that he likes having some height and muscle...will be very interesting to see how that plays out!
This is what I thought I remembered on Wadly from JC.
