I believe his most highly publicized flip was at the MAC final after we had just erased the 19 pt deficit vs Buffalo
Yep I witnessed that at the Q with my father. That was the Leon tip-in game. Which was the day after the infamous "What is Buffalo sucks?" trivia question during the semis if my memory serves me well.

Fears first did the backflip after hitting the buzzer beater against Detroit in the bracket buster. We had two starters injured in that one and still won.

I think what might have been if we had pulled off that win over Kentucky. Fears completely shut down Rajon Rondo.

There was a great quote from John Rhodes in Ray Mernaugh's book covering the MAC for a season that went something like "Jeremy's attitude is what got him here, but it's also what got him -here-."

That buzzer beater over Detroit was the game that sealed my love for Ohio basketball. That team found a way to win games in very dramatic fashion. After the career Leon had here and considering how great of a NBA career Rondo ended up having, it's impossible not to think about how things might've played out differently.

I just read the thread about him on the Drake board where he was previously committed. Someone posted on 3/24 that he was down to MTSU, St Bonaventure, Ohio and Arkansas. So it appears we've been recruiting him for a decent amount of time. Those are 3 very solid programs to beat out for a recruit. This is a big commitment.

I'll take competing with programs like that for a good guard. The prospect of him with the group of guards that are already in the fold for the future is very exciting.

Thanks sharing that. His jumper looks pretty good to me in there. Definitely noticeable speed on the dribble as well.

Nice hops! And nice left handed dribble control. Thanks for sharing borna.

Jaaron leaving makes me feel even better about this kid. I have to think that Saul knew Jaaron was leaving and was able to sell this kid with that knowledge. I hope he is ready and I believe that between he and Butler we will be fine. Our problem will be leadership in the lockeroom as Laster is really our only experience. Hopefully now we can get another grad transfer or Tone to fill in for Jaaron. If we get Tone back I am less worried about point guard. If not, I am worried for a pair of guys learning on the fly.

Don't discount Butler too much. With Butler, Kirk and Dartis we will be fine at the point.

Respectfully, I disagree with regard to leadership and experience stopping at Laster. Block and Dartis impress me as two guys who will step into the leadership roles.

I can absolutely see what you are saying. I love Dartis and Block. Have had chance to meet them and both are vocal and solid team first guys. I can also see DT getting more vocal.

Thanks, allen . . . that's certainly a nice video. Kid looks like he has some good moves. Maybe he'll make us all forget about Jaaron.

I like the fact that he can get to any spot that he wants, and he also has great vision.

Teyvion and Jeremy are not blood relatives, but were neighbors on the same street and became very close friends. They consider each other uncle and nephew.

Jeremy was very involved in encouraging Kirk to choose Ohio. Really appreciates his time at Ohio.
This is very positive, and I'm glad Jeremy is doing well...
